Imo, you talking is what makes your videos stand out more. There are countless reaction channels that just sit there silently and then do an outro, but one of the reasons I like reactions is to hear opinions and thoughts. I think it's the right call to get through KGLW before going to The Murlocs, but I am excited for that because I honestly don't really know any of their music. So it will be fun to discover it through your vids.
LW to me is a lot more consistent than KG is, and the tracks feel a lot more rock solid in their composition. Unlike KG where I often pick and choose what to listen to, there’s pretty much nothing filler on LW for me. Can’t wait for you to get started on that and Rats Nest soon.
I have no idea how TH-cam works either, but maybe you could carve out personal recording time to do an album straight through, but divide it into the individual tracks/suites for video releases? That way, you can get the full album experience yourself, and still release videos song by song. Most of us here have listened to these albums straight through, so I'm sure our brains could fathom the experience I'm proposing Then, like you said the hardest thing would be your schedule. But these albums are mostly under an hour. Idk, just spit balling 🤙
It took me far too long to remember this song's title for some reason, I used to just call it Hungry Like the Wolf which is a very different tune lol. Also re you talking in the middle, I personally like it, it's a stream of conciousness about what you're feeling in the moment which, to me, is what a reaction video should be. I don't know for sure, but I also reckon you'd be also more likely to get hit with strikes if you didn't pause the tunes here and there
Can't wait for LW, the best of the 3 imo. The last track KGLW I think will be your favorite microtonal song, maybe even favorite Gizz song all together. The live in Sydney '21 version is f'ing incredible.
I also love Oddlife, I always pair Intrasport and Oddlife together they bleed so while with one another. Can't wait for your reaction to L.W. and great choice to play Infest The Rats' Nest right after...WOOO!!! Rolling into the new year with Infest The Rats' Nest :D
LW is the best microtonal album by far, they really got down the vibe they wanted and I think the songs have much more identity - static electricity is joint 2nd for best microtonal song with nuclear fusion for me
For the drums production on this one I think they went the way of some of their earlier albums. It's like a blown speaker effect that adds distortion to the mix. It's cool for steady rhythms maybe on the snare but I don't really like it on drum fills with toms.
Most of the stuff on these albums were basically Cavs teaching himself how to record a drum set because they were all in lockdown, so that may have something to do with it.
I like more LW than KG, idk if it's more darker but at least experiments better than KG, but that's my opinion. Also, have you thought on doing live reactions?
Also dude just wanted to add I appreciate ur pandering and steering off topic, it’s not like ur just yapping ur clearly passionate about this and I appreciate hearing about it
@@rockdariff yeah, same thing, just different name. I haven't heard them called chimes before. Side note: don't worry too much about people telling you how to do your thing. You come across as very "real", and someone who just loves music.
I wonder if you'll come to like the other songs on KG more over time. I think that was the case for a lot of fans. Or maybe not and that's fine too. Judging by your opinions on these songs, I think LW will be more of what you like. After that I think it's about time to dive into Rat's Nest. You'll definitely like that one.
This is such a killer track. The microtonal doom sound is super cool, I think they should do it a bit more often. L.W. is overall a better record in lots of people's opinions. I don't revisit those tracks as much, but they're all really good. It's just a bit heavier overall I'd say, but I'm not sure about it being darker than K.G.

For a revisit of Murder of the Universe, you must check out the KEXP version of the Alter Me/Altered Beast suite. No narration.

Such a killer track, keep it up dude love the reactions
I think he's gonna like KGLW (closer) a lot, too.
This song bleeds into LW's first track

Heads up: the official video for the first track of LW has Closed Captioning with lyrics.
yeah thats pretty important for that song lmao
LW is actually one of the best works of art to grace our ears, I can’t wait for this guy to hear pleura

Next song up, If Not Now, Then When? has a few parts that tickle my brain like no other song
Cant wait for the first track on the next album. Its one of my all time favorites.

The gizzverse lore reasoning behind this song is sick as fuck

Some other people recommended it but yeah if you did a Patreon and did full album reacts I’d totally subscribe just for the gizz

Is it a chime, or a guitar harmonic? Harmonics are so much fun to play.
I think ive always called the guitar harmonic a chime haha…like when ya rest your finger arcross the the 5th, 7th and 12th fret bars

if you do ever want to do a whole album in one video, I would suggest polygondwanaland, as it was released directly into the public domain.
Haha Ive already done that album
@@rockdariff yeah just finished watching the video and realised that, also pretty sure I had known that already, I just completely forgot.

get a patreon up chief! could post full albums on there and keep other videos here broken up?
I think, for you, if there’s an album that could dethrone Peyton it’ll be ItRN
