I once tried that jin’s kick in sparring with my 6 year senior batchmate who was very experienced (almost 10 years, while I was only 4 year experienced), he was also 1.3x my height. But as I executed it with speed, it first confused him as he thought I was going for chest, then with a sudden thud I gave a leg slap on his face and everyone was clapping for me. I gotta say it’s my favourite kick and is really really effective. If the high side kick is a little less exaggerated, it's very effective. It's basically the same as a teep, but with more power. Jin's roundhouse is amazing. It's got a little downward angle to it. That thing will put someone to sleep.

Weird, as someone who trains and competes, the exact kick we see in this video is not only not powerful but impractical. Hwaorang’s on the other hand I find the best. You easily close distance, you’ve got full extension, your kicks are thrown in between the opponent’s guard, and you can easily get back into stance. I’m utterly confused as to why many seem to think jin’s the most effective.
