One of the great singers of all time.
I got to see him perform in concert and the best part the Holy Ghost hit me and I came out my shoes and he told security let me come close toward him and we swayed while he sung one my favorite song Having a party I had brought my tickets way in advance it was one of the best concert I ever attended that night was the best memorials and this song I took my sister in law
LUTHER WHITNEY AND MARIAH IN THEIR PRIME ARE THE TRINITY OF VOICES!!!!
Hi from Dominican República him was the Best voice in the world wide.
This Man was a blessing from God that voice no one can touch
One of my favorites. Luther never disappoints, even without his full band he still delivers.
THANK YOU! Well Said.
Jack Golden. U do bi gettin around!! I seen you on Djforb under my other identity🤣
Luther each time I hear your music l love it 🎉❤
Luther Vandross gives an outstanding performance regardless of what band he has backing him. I miss his music so much, now we need a documentary, none could play him on the screen.
It makes me sad to think this great man is gone... but his MUSIC lives on for eternity.. RIP Luther.
Rest in peace Superstar.⭐
The best!!!!!
His music still lives
Easily 1 of the greatest ever male vocalists in my opinion
As long Nat was with him it’s good.I just wished he covered more songs because the ones he did he Killed
There is no other.
Vocal Master🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤Even with the Junior Varsity Band He and Nat Adderly showed out
Yep ... I mirror that...
I loved how he switched up superstar and house is not a home at every concert gives me chills everytime R I h Luther …if he was still here with us I would be broke lol I would go to every concert that’s how much I loved him 😍😍😍
When I met him before the concert, he seemed so reserve. But he really lights up the stage. He was also very humble. In the finally when Kenny G jokingly gets on his knees to shine Luther's shoes, Luther "hits" Kenny G to get him to stop. th-cam.com/video/UomE0_ak-SE/w-d-xo.html
My favorite singer of all time - wow - to be able to sing like this. Whitney is my second and Aretha is my third.
Oh my god. Love it . Hope you're having a great time up there. I love you wish I could have et you. YOU WERE SENT STRAIGHT FROM HEAVEN.
The best song ever... Old school Black music...
One of my top listed singers the best
He was so smooth! Peace!
Yes indeed. - thanks for the comment.
Nat Adderley Jr. !!!!!!!!
Have you heard his arrangement of "When I need You"? Luther killed it on that too.

You kept your word. Thanks men!
My pleasure
I wrote this before, I'll write it again: Nat Adderley Jr! If I can be reincarnated, I think I want to come back as him, or atleast have his piano acumen and musicality. ❤❤❤❤
😍
❤
Great songs 😂
LUTE LUTE LUTE!
Wish I could have met you xxx
Beautiful person
Could you PLEASE upload more Luther from this particular Chicago concert? Truly, Chicago DIEHARD Luther listener.
There is one more Luther Vandross solo from this concert. It will be posted on Thanksgiving.
Nice... subtly, You can tell that that wasn't his band tho....lol.
You're correct, it was actually Richard Marx's band.
Yes. But It gives the performance a beautiful extemporaneous feel. I wish he recorded more live albums before he passed.
I'm not feeling this arrangement. The missing strings take away from the emotional impact of the song, IMO. I just realized that there were string musicians on the stage, yet they weren't used for this song. What a missed opportunity.
