Ex-assassin Kenshin Himura (Takeru Satô) has made a vow never to kill again. Now a wandering samurai, Kenshin protects those in hope of reparation. With millions of fans of the anime and manga around the world, I wonder why this movie didn't get as much press as it should. Anyway, can't wait for the sequels!!
I just have to say the whole casts performances were really spot on and some brought new stuff to the characters. Truly though the best actors to watch were for Sanosuke, Kanryu, and Kenshin himself. But then you got Kaoru who literally just feels exactly like the warm lovable character sprung off the page. I haven't watched such a pleasing adaptation to a story I love like this in a long while.
For the first minute of this trailer I honestly thought Battosai was one of the most beautiful asian women I've ever seen. Then he spoke.
I dont know if is the story too good. Anime or Movie is a masterpiece , Best history of samurai I ever saw
Just watched. Holy shit. This is the best acting I've seen in quite some time. Hollywood RARELY puts out shit this good. Find it. Watch it. Love it. And get ready for the sequels due out in Summer 2014.
I really like the person they chose to play Kenshin- he looks perfect for the role! Looking forward to watching this
I just saw it yesterday, and all I can say is that you will not be disappointed! Only Japanese could execute this movie so well!!

I would look forward to this, if this wasnt a japanese Movie.
The hero dying in the end is a rather integral part of most japanese hero movies...

Ok so this looks great. I know its japanese and they will most likely do an amazing job of capturing Rurouni well. But i hope its atleast a few hours long and done properly. Cant wait to see it :)
