He was just being honest. According to other cast members and crew, he was difficult and bullied the actress playing Ursa and picked fights with the actor playing Non. Maybe the role gave him a big head, idk. All I do know is he, along with Helen Slater and the guys who played the 90's Superboy gave us the best flying scenes, ever, so I'm willing to remember Reeves for that, rather than the drama.
Why is it the people who play big roles in our lifes and inspire us (One For All) have to suffer alone (All For One) after they've given us hope, inspiration, motivation and love...?
Yes! Watched the movie a hundred times. So many memorable lines. “ it is forbidden for you to interfere with human history” as he flies around the earth to reverse what happened to his love, Lois Lane.
For the younger generation who don't know who Reeve is, he was an astounding actor that blew up the popularity for superhero films. His personality, creativity, and undeniable quench for perfection in his acting, is why this is such a big deal. He still became an idol in America even after the horse incident! Keep flying friends, to the sky and back!
I cried as a seventeen year old patient of GBS (paralysis) watching the '96 Oscars in a New York hospital, in 2008 (again paralyzed), asked my ex to show me the Christopher Reeve Superman movies, cried then and now, at 46, I miss this man. I dunno what, how to write what I feel. Thank you Chris, you ARE the Hero and always will be.

Now that she's no more, her words come sailing back to me and I can feel a tear trickling down my cheek as I watch this great man and his legacy.
I felt so much for Chris & Dana's kids first losing their dad and then only 5 years later, losing their mom. I'm happy to see them thriving and carrying on the necessary work of their family's foundation.
I'm tearing up watching this trailer...what courage he displayed despite the complete loss of his identity, that he still pulled himself up to make a difference to others. He is still Superman to my generation and others
I don’t normally cry to things like that but this actually made me tear up. I’m only 21 and he was my childhood Superman, the one I compare all the others to and they still can’t compare. Even still he was so brave and strong outside the movies 🥲
Christopher Reeve will always be Superman on and off the screen. The bravery to continue on after his tragic accident is a real Superman. He will always be my Superman. Born to play the role. This also goes to Bill Bixby who played David Banner in The Incredible Hulk tv series. Both actors were both born to play these parts in movies and screen. They are iconic and truly loved. Both Legends❤️❤️
I’m gonna cry so hard watching this doc! 😭 What a trailer! Also! The last shot of the doc. should simply be that of Reeve’s Superman flying across the screen, smiling at us - just how they ended each movie 🫶🥰 No better way to end the documentary, than in that classic uplifting way ♥️
I had such a crush on this man growing up. He was THAT man…..he gave a face to an incredible story and such hope in his recovery. He had true love and true friendship and amazing family. He was a good send and they continue to do such incredible work…..he was Superman, our hero…..I can’t wait to see this.

But it does though, you try caring for someone every day and tell me you don’t have to give up things or adapt to a different lifestyle as well. I fully understand his mindset, he knew this would be a burden. Got to give credit for those committed to being by his side for the rest of his life.

Loved him in the film with Jane Seymour Somewhere in time. I so miss him. What a guy. His children are a credit to him as well. 😢😢😢
I'm emotional just watching the trailer! He was the most beautiful, believable, incredible Superman, with great panache, style, humanity, humility, humour, strength, sweetness, honour, and vulnerability. I`m crying watching this. The way he could honestly smile while being the way he was, I feel that I need to be so much more grateful for the life I have.
WOW! First time I have never made it through a trailer because I could not see through my tears of joy & admiration.
