I came from the documentary, ready to blame and shame. Then I watched Teal's explanation and she said, "If you want to see what I really do, go watch this unedited workshop."
So I clicked it. Fourteen minutes in and I am SOBBING. I feel like she is speaking to me. Directly to me. Telling me to stop fighting.
Yes, I've seen tiktoks of her before and liked her quotes but then I read the comments and there's soooo much negativity that I didn't look elsewhere until the documentary.
Now that I see this - the unedited version, it really makes me feel upset with myself. I KNEW that I was drawn to Teal (I literally searched for the documentary today out of nowhere bc she came into my mind, watched all 4 episodes) and I let edited garbage gaslight me for a while, but something made me say, NO, go seek more answers.
I'm glad I did. I'm glad I went straight to Teal's page and I'm glad I landed here. This is a good place for me to start discovering Teal.
Because if THIS is who Teal truly is, then that is what I'm looking for.

This girl is everything I am feeling, so lost, looking for grounding but nothing is satisfying enough.
I get it too. I have felt like everything is 100% pointless and why should we do anything at all. that feeling would come and then go and everything would be OK.

I went to this workshop and it was amazing. The energy in the room, Teal’s presence, the people who went on stage and just everything was an incredibly unique experience. Highly recommend going to her workshop. Hearing other ppl’s stories and hearing them work through their struggles with Teal was surprisingly humbling and just helped me feel connected to others (something I struggle with).

That's what got me for a long time too. Knowing and understanding why certain people hurt me the way they did, having empathy fir what they went through to cause how they treated me didn't make me feel better. Only until I accepted what they did was wrong and I have every right to be upset about it helped me heal from it, but I'm finding it difficult to totally forgive, even though I love them still.
@@GlitzyWitch yes, this is one thing of course.. It is yet harder to forgive people you do not love. I always thought that if I could see why they acted as they did I would understand it and not feel hurt anymore. But that isn't right... And now, as I start to dive into healing, I know that pain won't be erased by understanding, as Teal says... I have to accept that they put me in pain and- you know, get to know the pain. But thats painful, and there's a huge part of me trying to avoid it

I could feel how she is just saying things and not believing it. Like there was this manager inside of her that told her what to say. That's what I did too. When you prove to yourself that others don't have the answer, it gives you power. They now know how it feels when they've been judging you before for not having it all figured out. Sheep to the slaughter
This is crucial for those of us raised to reject our power, to submit to the ultimate authority. We grow up believing two contradicting things, that the adult authorities had all the answers and yet still they could not keep us safe because we were flawed. I've been trying to push myself beyond that to find the uncorrupted answer, the truth untouched by selfishness or perspective, because that is what I was taught God had. But now I feel that "yes and this too," that can pull you back into the moment. It's not even really about the act of trusting, trusting is a consequence of this. It's an acceptance of what is and a belief that I can handle it. That clenching fear that I'll lose myself in someone else's truth is based on a version of myself that doesn't exist in the present moment.
It always amazes me how so many people think that so-called security with someone is more important than well-being and safety. Congrats to the mature woman for her openness and strength. Teal, it's always wonderful to watch you work. Your sincerity and warmth balance your strength beautifully. Much appreciated.

I read here so much and just in reading I learn so much so many shared experiences that I can't stay stuck some areas healed. I wish the existence wasn't so tough but I just keep going. I just don't want to see another person in public have go thru what I call artistic irritation expressions by scribe's, a scribe didn't like xyz in several details so they must castigate a teacher that promotes life when the right wing is practicing death worship. I wish I belonged here but I'm a recovering legalist, the pple that criticize teal don't understand that at times the places, pple, institutions fails one person so many times they cent recover much less operate above a failure to thrive diagnosis.

I'm not an audio engineer or anything like that, but I have a fair amount of practical experience with microphones.
Those wireless mics you guys have are great, however, most people greatly underestimate just how close it needs to be to your mouth for it to really work well. People get self-conscious using a mic, and they tend to get far enough from it to the point where they can only hear themselves through their own ears (which is what they're accustomed to). But, it means the audience also can't hear them, so the poor sound engineer has to crank up the gain as high as it'll go, which makes that microphone crazy "hot," and then it does exactly what's happening here: it feeds back. Not that instant blast of sound you get pointing it right at the speaker, but rather that constant "whine" that never seems to go away.
When you're talking into a dynamic mic, you should feel your lips occasionally brushing up against it. It's THAT close. Do that, and a couple of things will happen: the audio quality will go through the roof, and your voice will sound very rich and full. Second, most importantly, the engineer can then turn the gain WAY down.
You can eliminate all the feedback AND greatly improve the overall audio quality with just that simple fix. The mic loves you - don't be afraid to give it a kiss! (And please sanitize it after the gig. 😀)
Sir, with the fact that this is some thing you’re commenting, that is totally off the topic yet relevant to main piece of the whole video it is honestly a treat-to see somebody thoroughly explain a simple answer to something that everybody in the room has to endure and think about in the back of their mind, as they’re trying to pay attention to something important, it’s so nice to see someone care enough to elaborate on a solution and I just want to say thank you so much for the fact that you provide answers and solutions to something else beyond what may be predominant, but vital. I would hire you.
Agreed.. I’m a musician and audio person who is sensitive to frequency…So when I listen to the video that’s the very thought that goes through my mind and all I’m hearing in my head is please cut 250hz, 600hz, and 4khz. Those frequencies will clean up the audio and then we can hear in bliss without distraction. Thanks for bringing attention to that.

I'm actually surprised teal didn't do more somatic work with her to have her connected to her body.
This girl was mean most my life, I'm 33 years old and challenged everything and everyone, still do sometimes. And being in my body, learning my worth, and setting boundaries was the ONLY way I was able to learn to trust myself.

Hey people of TH-cam I love teal and her teaching but at first it's seems complex to understand and digest because she is solving problems from the root without shortcuts so it takes time and patience and most people just look for a quick fix to feel better.
However there is another great teacher by the name of mooji who gives you a simple way to quiet the mind and therefore make you see that all of your problems are smaller than they truly are, so I just had to recommend you checking out mooji Chanel in case someone needs.
I still watch and will watch a lot of teal's content and highly appreciate every bit of it, it's just that I feel like mooji can really help you in a simpler way.
I recommend watching both mooji and teal each for his own virtues.

When I was younger I thought the very same and followed down that path it has let to years of self abuse trying to commit suicide multiple times my questions started when I was little 6yrs old and being medicated and as I sit here the last 3 months I've been getting help and after one last close call and a 4 mile walk everything finally clicked and since then I've opened myself to just listen and trust ME since that moment everything is coming in so fast questions and truths I've felt have been confirmed my wish for this young lady is she doesn't have to walk this path as long as I did before she realizes the truth is in her as much as she questions and challenges she knows the truths and once she knows that her path will be everything her mind body soul need ❤️

I still believe Teal is drawing from legitimate scientific sources, she can do a lot of psychotherapies all in one, in a coherent natural way! The girl has suffered from betrayal, she mentioned it in the beginning. She had a good relationship with her dad and it failed her, she had a good relationship with her religion and it failed her. She is constantly looking for the right answer, wanting to trust someone else over herself. But the other part of her is keeping her safe from experiencing the same betrayal again. And the strategy of challenging allows her to not have to trust in and rely on what another person is saying/ offering. She can keep to herself and keep safe from the pain and disappointment and this is more important for this part than the desire of connection. It's not about finding the ultimate answer, it's about finding someone or something who/that won't betray her. The older lady is the further manifestation of this betrayal belief system. The lady felt good, allowed herself to trust the man and later re-enforced her belief of "if I trust, I will get betrayed". That's what it's all about. And that's also why the girl struggles connecting with her body. She is split between wanting to feel good but terrified of what consequences that could/ would bring.

I can’t believe what I’ve just watched. This is the evolution and expansion of the world manifesting in a very interesting way before our eyes. This is human RELATION at its core best. Teals ability to see and sense energy is unmatched. To the outside looking in it may look life a difficult case at first because the girls mind is so fragmented, but Teal could see what the girl was never going to be able to admit unless identified in a mirror from the elder woman.
This was the most powerful therapy/ healing/ conversation/ humanity action I’ve ever seen
Thankful to Teal for doing her work and waking to her power and knowing that she INDEED has all the answers and they’re all true to HER because it’s her universe, just like it’s OUR universe to each of us, take your power and go have fun with it in the activity you love best, and if you’re a Gemini like me then do it all until you get bored and rotate, there are no rules and constructs in this universe really, so pretend you were born again today but with this current level of consciousness

Oh wow! This student dentist is exactly like me when i was in the peak of my depression couple years ago. Can’t believe how much of a mirror image she is of my thoughts back then.
Its a state of mind. What helped me and its an ongoing process is to drop into the body and feel anger, cos it is mostly anger that you think you don’t have the right to feel, you feel that and it will uncover deeper emotions and keep doing that, being honest to yourself all the time. Everything else you do can be in cruise control, don’t have to excel in it right now, just enough to navigate it calmly. Just focus on being honest for now. I have IBD and can’t eat most of everything and feeling my emotions is the only thing that makes me able to digest something temporarily. Hoping gain permanent results from doing this long term. I haven’t watched the whole video just the first 12 mins and rushed to comment here.
If you see this student dentist (sorry I didn’t catch your name), feel free to comment. I may not able to solve your issue but i can for sure make you feel like you are not alone in this and can give you something that helped with this kind of loopy conflict.
