Jennifer, the bird you said you didn't think existed anywhere in the world is just stunning! I've watched this video many times while practicing with my Zig markers and I always stop what ever I'm doing to check out that bird! Its beyond beautiful and the blending on it is perfect!
My sister sent me the entire set of these pens - just because. I’m slowly learning out to use them & all the effects you can do so this video was extremely helpful & l learned a lot of valuable information. So many thanks for a wonderful card. Jennifer I'm running out of words to describe how gifted you are. I love that you find a faster and more simplistic way to do things. at my age I don't have the time or energy to really do the fine Copics. So this is more up my alley. I realized I could use some tips and I remembered you mentioning these in a couple of your videos. I'm glad I found this one because your examples are perfect. It really helped that you used the same image for all. You really are my favorite when it comes to card crafts.
That's what I'm thinking! I'm wishing i would have never invested in any of the alcohol markers I've got. These look so much more fun to use and a way better deal!

I love your demo of the pens...I love the birds,birds are my favorite and I love how you colored all of them also the person that gets the card can take the tag and make a bookmark or an ornament out of them....

Actually, there is a small bird here in Hawaii that is almost that exact green/yellow/orange combo! He's beautiful, and always in my yard. Next time I see him, I'll snap a pic for you and share on instagram! Your techniques are so inspiring! ! I love your videos!

I've been debating on a color medium I wanted to invest in for stamp coloring. I like copics but have yet to purchase any of them because of the price. I like watercoloring but I find it doesn't always give me the color I'm looking for. I just purchased a 24 pack of these because of your videos so thank you for sharing so many different ways to use them! I can't wait to get my hands on them :)
There is definitely a bit of a learning curve with these pens, but the ink is gorgeous and blends well into itself. The only thing i've noticed is trying to dilute the really dark colors a lot, the ink seems to stain the paper a little, but that's not that unusual for watercolors. I'm still trying to understand how to wrap my brain around them, because they're so different from anything else I've eer used. Buuuttt, they're beautiful, and aside from a little staining and the learning curve, they're probbly the easiest to use. Especially if you take palette watercolors to blend out any little hiccups you find, and it turns out amazing.

Loved this video, Jennifer! I just got the 36 piece set of these pens this week and have really enjoyed them so far. Since these are a water-based dye ink, I assume they would be OK for a direct to stamp technique. Have you tried that? If so, what did you think?

I noticed these awesome markers come in sets. Does each set have different shade markers or if I were to buy say the 24 pack and then down the road get a larger set will I end up with doubles?

I am not trying to bash the Distress Markers, but I have to honestly say they were the only Ranger product I ever bought and was disappointed with. I have had these Sig clean markers for about 3-4 years and I LOVE them. They are so juicy, they blend so easily and the tip is an actual brush, not a brush nib like the Distress. The Distress markers, in my experience, were hard to blend, especially directly on paper, and we're very dry and scratchy. That's just my opinion, but if I could get my money back for the Distress Markers I would have a much larger set of these!
Jennifer, I've done this on same watercolor paper and it bleeds everytime. I've done everything the same way only didn't use embossing powder. I did heat set the inked image. Why is mine bleeding beyond.my image. I was even very careful to use less water on second time around it still bled right away. what am I doing wrong? I used Strathmore watercolor paper had no problems. But I want white paper. help! Thanks Jennifer, or anyone with suggestions. love this video Jen, LOVE these markers and your cards beautiful! Fantastic video, and I also love these markers. They just put out a new 30-color collection, for a total of 120 colors as of 2022.

If you move the tip around in water a little bit you can get an amazing gradient, just like a chameleon marker.
