There is definitely an artist lurking inside you! 🤗🤗🤗 Not sure how I missed this one, I thought I watched all of your past videos, but I’m so glad TH-cam suggested it! This card is gorgeous! 🌸🧡🌸
I feel so encouraged to try this technique... I have the pens, and have known about the technique, but your video really sparked the desire to sit down and DO IT! Wish me luck!
I am a subscriber to your channel and I have seen how great your cards are. I just recently took a zig water coloring class at the scrapbooking expo in Ontario, CA and I love dit. I also am not sure of the shadowing placement however I was surprised at how easy it was. The only thing I need to learn is what colors go together. That is a beautiful card
I just bought a set after seeing it used on another, but still intimidated:)...tried it after seeing your video and it isn't as bad as I was imagining! Thanks for the encouragement.
I have this set too. My first attempt at using them to water color was a failure, but I think that was due to using the wrong paper. You have given me hope to try again! 😁
Thank you so much for this - I’m new to both embossing and the Zig pens and you inspired me to try something like this - it’s the first time I’ve been pleased with how it came out!
Hi new subbie here. These turned out so beautiful. I just recently saw someone else use these pens but can't recall who it was at the moment but anyway, they made it look so easy to do and really made me interested in getting some myself and now after watching you use them I now know that I'm definitely going to get some. Thanks for the tutorial.
You know, I’ve had Zig markers for years for bullet journaling, but I honestly never knew they were used for water coloring! I’ve been wasting so much of their potential! The more you know… 🌈😂 Beautiful card!!
Yep, it always looks good and I am like you, I watch a lot of the videos on using them and they are very helpful and they aren't that hard to use. One of my favorite ways of coloring!
I’m also very new to the zig markers but if you haven’t already, you must try them on Bristol smooth paper next time. That paper is a game changer for these pens.
I purchased Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a aqua brush, but my color is not flowing as easily as in this video. I put down a bit of color from the Zig, then use the aqua brush and the color doesn't flow - just mostly water and the Zig color dries immediately. I'm using white acid free card stock paper and not water color paper to make cards. Could that be making the difference?
Hey Kathy, yes! The paper makes a difference. I have heard that if you are going to use card stock to use Strathmore Bristol Smooth with Zigs. For use watercolor paper.. I like the Fabriano Artistico White paper and I like Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock!
What stamp storage envelopes do you use? I’m trying to organize, key word here is ‘trying’. I liked this video so much this is the second time I’m viewing it!
I do what Jennifer McGuire does. Avery Elle clear pockets! And i love it. And they are a really affordable way to organize! Check out some of her Favorite Crafty Things videos on Organization. SO good.
Beautiful water coloring. ❤
You amaze me!!! You make it look so incredibly simple but I continue to fail!! ♥️♥️♥️
You can do it! Just keep trying. I haven't used these markers in FOREVER. Maybe it's time to give it another go!
I’m so glad I just found this! Off to see if I can still get my hands on these markers 5 years later :)
you crack me up. And i have to say it's so enjoyable to listen to your genuine enthusiasm for all things card making.
I'm having so much fun doing it!
So beautiful! Bristol smooth cardstock works really well with the Zigs also! TFS!

I'm so glad TH-cam recommended it! I never know how that really works! Thanks, Shelly!
Beautiful...I have these pens..love them!🥰
I just realised I bought a set of 12 of these markers months ago and hadn't got around to using them. I'm inspired now, thank you.
Get to it!
Ooooh, I love this watercolor technique! I have these markers which I use for lettering, but hadn't thought to try this. So cool!
Well get on it, girl! ;)
Yep, you will have loads of fun with these watercolor brushes. I love my set! Thanks for the sheet with all the colors!💛
I need to get them out more often!
Cathy, great video! I’m a beginning card maker and have never watercolored and your directions were just what I needed. I’m going to try this.
Do! It's really fun stuff!
Gorgeous..... simple yet beautiful. 💗💗 Tfs 😊
Wonderful tutorial...and thanks so much for the Zig watercolor chart!!!!

Beautiful! 😊❤️🇨🇦
😍 you make me want to use them.... I have the 80 colors 😱 great card !!!! 👏🏼
All 80? Yes! You should! :)
You are such an encourager, Cathy. I've been dying to buy some of the zigs, just wasn't certain I could make it look good. Beautiful card!
You don't need a ton, honestly. Just pick two or three colors to try. You get a lot of mileage from just one color!
Thank you Cathy!!! Only 2 color coloring is a can do for me. I have some Zigs and now I can't wait to try the way you color.
I have this set too. My first attempt at using them to water color was a failure, but I think that was due to using the wrong paper. You have given me hope to try again! 😁
Definitely give it another try!
love watching your videos!! beautiful, beautiful card :)

Great job, I love my Zigs and I am by no means an artist in any way!
They make you feel more artistic! Right?
Yep, it always looks good and I am like you, I watch a lot of the videos on using them and they are very helpful and they aren't that hard to use. One of my favorite ways of coloring!

Really? Cool! I happen to have a pad of it on my shelf. Will try it out!
Yes!! I got this tip from watching Nichol Spohr’s videos... I’m telling ya, you won’t regret it.
Love your videos

@@czdesign Thanks for the feedback re: cardstock and paper to use with Zigs.
Like you, I don't draw or paint. Heck, I can't draw a straight line with a ruler. I may have to give these markers a try.

you have to watch Nicole Spohr she rocks this technique!
Yes! She is a master!
