The wood reminds me of a trick we would do while repairing 3"+ pvc water lines on large apt buildings when all the Tennant are bugging you every 10mins when is the water gonna be back on....
.problem was on a big pvc water line it would usually pop the fittings off with fresh glue without setting up for a day or two....on a large building with 100s of tennants at 7 pm you really don't have that option. ....or the sun out to help cure the glue quicker. ...so we would put a bag of quick setting cement up against the 90* fitting and run our blow torches across all the wet glue fittings from a distance to simulate sun curing, and wait about 30 mins....cross our fingers.......and let the water flow!!!..........man I do not miss those days at all, but seeing that piece of wood pressed against the charge pipe brought me right back. ............so if u live in a large appt buildings and the water is off under repair...give those plumbers a break, it's not an easy fix like it would be on a single family home with copper lines and 1"-1.5" line.....your talking high volume commercial sized lines with lots of drain back..it's a timesaking procedure and it's only harder if your getting bothered every 10mins talking bout I gotta take a shower, I gotta make dinner, I gotta do the dishes.....shoulda moved into a smaller apt if you couldn't afford a conventional home sucka!!!!

I was rolling that pile on the chip sounds like a roll up door 8300 dam put that shortblock in a race car and it would free the rods on the burn out but not on the dyno can't make that shit up
