If starting from new and you've got some coin go with a b15 and a mag tvs and you will get your 1000 hp. You can even do it with a non blower cam. Big Power low boost
Good shit fellas.. Turn the block over when you're pulling the cam out tho
That hair cut is copyrighted!!! Rock it as long as you can bro!
Lego hair- that was golden!
That sahara themed toolbox is very nice
That Lego hair made me spit my drink lawd have mercy
Have you done much supercharger stuff? What build would you recommend without going stupid with $$? Just for a street car occasional race. Thanks mate. For 800-1000hp. 👌
Built stock block. Blower/meth or e85. $16k installed. Then then you have the trans/driveline.
Your channel is awesome
how you have almost 80k subscribers with content like this is.. baffling.
Agreed!!!
Probably because this dude talks a lot, but says nothing.
Agreed.
is something about engines that calm me down¨3.56
Thanks, starting 3rd gen build, 20 yrs. coming. Ls swap.
Assuming your using a flat top piston, at what boost pressure do topfuel hoops need to be used?
You can take a LS 5.3 put a big cam in it headers and a tune should get you 400+ easy.
Love your content dudes!
Does the aluminum block hold up to big hp with stock sleeve?
I just subscribed this is a badass TH-cam Channel!!
You don't have to pull the pan to get the pickup tube off. 8mm ratchet wrench and a piece of fishing line to keep the bolt out of oil pan does the trick.
Gen 4 aluminum 5.3s, 799 heads tsp pistons & rods, arp hardware.... some turbos.... I have a 6.2 that needs a sleeve.... the aluminum liner has a crack so I may sleeve it a fill it and top ring hoops it.... run 30 psi out of it....
I would like a resleeved 427.... 1500 hp
1500 HP, welcome to the end of the line with OEM LS blocks. Welcome to cracked blocks...
@@johnnyjackson2555 Texas speed says there 427 can hold upto 1500....
Thomas Everett It’ll handle it for a few passes
You should build ls nasty long blocks and sell them ready to drop in..
So as an ASE Master Tech, I am trying to figure this out. Prep for machine shop, throw money at it, bolt on some part, hang a turbocharger or two on it, have the kid install it, make 1000HP. Should you take nap or check for broken finger nail?
This is what I’ve been thinking of doing over this winter, upgrading my rotating assembly. I have a stock LS3 now, gpi cam, and 150 shot. Already have 1400hp DSS rear, McLeod rxt twin disk, and some other goodies. Basically it’s ready to put 1000+hp down besides the bottom end and the trans. Haven’t set yet on the trans if I want to keep it stick and get a built tr6060 or go th400
4l80 or 4l85 . You'll like either
This video should be captioned "breaking down old beat up engine" zero building. Lol
I am building a 5.3 lm7 for my 2003 Chevy avalanche z66 I am goings to use stock crank shaft . 20 over piston

I've got a 2003 Silverado SS with the stock 6.0 L and want to do some mods. What first after headers? I've got a cold air intake by Volant and a SuperChips tune in it now.

4.8L or 5.3L LS with a 383 Stroker kit and twin smaller turbos for a heavier daily driver truck. Would this be a realistic possibility?
