Had been an automotive enthusiast all life, safe to say this video is one of those gems on the internet that address the complicated topics with such simplicity and refined knowledge. Totally impressed. - fellow enthusiast.
Very helpful video. I did not know that the attack angle had an optimum angle. Additionally, I did not know that louvers on the side air dams helped to generate down force. If you want to gain every advantage you've got to find and figure these things out. Thanks.
there is one point that is not mentioned in that video. although, it might be for more advanced levels: in the case of a multiple wing profile, like most high downforce cars have, shall we consider the multiple profiles as a single wing, or do we take them as separate pieces?
so with that said... how much ndoes it mattern "where" on the trunk youm position the wing? In front of edge of trunk, even with it, or hanging out behind the edge of trunk?... mImwould expectn it does matter correct? What is the optimal position generally
Great vid! I have a small duckbill spoiler that came with my Audi rs3. I recently added a rear wing which hangs directly above the spoiler. Is that setup fine or am i introducing more drag? Should i remove the spoiler?
Thanks for watching! Adding a rear wing above your duckbill spoiler could potentially create more downforce, but it's essential to consider the overall aerodynamics. If both elements are designed to work together, you might be enhancing stability and performance. However, if they weren't intended to be used together, it could lead to increased drag.
Why people still say rear wing and a spoiler are the same thing, they both serve a different purpose. A rear wing produce downforce, whereas a spoiler is used to reduce drag, please do research before putting anything in the internet. Rear wings are what you see in a F1 car Spoilers are mostly seen in super cars like the PORCHE 911.( A small protrusion that runs along the width at the rear)

That was the first explination that actually said something about wings that was nworth listening to and
provided actual information... thank you
Great video without unnecessary complications.
Wish you more subscribers! ;)
Thank you😀
Thanks for your explanation! The BEST ever. I watched many videos o. This but your explanation is the best making it so simple for a non-tech guy!
Glad it was helpful!

Very informative and easy to absorb and implement. Thank you very much
Great explanation! Are you an aerodynamicist? 🎉🎉🎉
Great Video - Thanks!
Whats a good program to design things like this?
Hi
I have a question
If i want to design a wing which angel do you suggest to use?
Actually i mean which angek is common and functional?
Phenomenal video!
Thank you!
So specific topic described . Thanks
Thank you for your support!

They are so many types of spoilers which type of spoiler is here explained?
General Explanation about the working of Spoilers.
hey for finding optimum angle whats the maths behind it, I rly hope it has calculus, I need it for my assignment
Want to talk how can we join
👍
vort - ices XD
I could not understand what was going on the whole time
if P1+P3=P4 THEN P4 should be > P1
Once check
👍👍👍👍
Spoiler alert
Please remove spoiler from the title. You are explaining wings not spoilers.
But thanks anyway
