Raw Explosive Shoulder Training - Branch Warren Johnnie Jackson and Butch Steinle

This can definitely be an oversimplification and open to interpretation BUT a muscle under maximal tension has no choice but to respond to this stimulus. You can achieve max tension in many ways. For Branch Warren, Johnnie Jackson joined by Butch Steinle here on this shoulder day and for the past 25 years, maximal tension and overload has been achieved in an explosive and ultra high repetition method WITH heavy weights.
This particular video is a raw, set for set workout with Branch Johnnie and Butch on their shoulder day. No commentary, no music tracks JUST LIFTING.
Full workout:
Rear delt flys: 4 sets x 15 reps (pyramided up in weight each set)
Seated military press: 3 sets - 135 x 15, 225 x 10-15, 225 x 10-15
Dumbbell laterals: 3 sets - 45 x 15, Dropset 65x15, 45x15, 25x15, back off set 45 x 20
Dumbbell front raises: 3 sets x 15
Superset cable upright rows and plate front raise: 3x15 each exercises.

Awesome. Been mainly doing powerlifting movement the main THREE. since gyms are close but is a blessing I bought some equipment due to the latter. And so yesterday I skipped shoulders maybe this is a reminder to not let the week go without doing some type of shoulder movement. Gracias

It's amazing that Branch and Johnnie never had career ending injuries LOL. They have the worst form and control of ALMOST everyone I've ever seen train. Still they were IFBB pros and were successful and had freaky physiques. It boggles my mind they never tore half their muscles or destroyed their joints.
As long as that muscle gets worked that's all that it takes
Its all about the contraction when it comes to bodybuilding. Using momentum to help youself is not that big of a deal as long as you get the full contraction, which takes years of expeirnce to be able to do correctly. When it comes to injuries im pretty sure Branch had torn his quad from the bone, which is a serious injury, but not "career ending" and it can happen to anyone.

Its totally a prefrence and Style, Its called Raw and Explosive for a reason! so if your faint little heart cant take it lol go back to your planet fitness gym and take your cute instagram selfie that you hashtagged "gains" lol and move the hell out of the way, and let the big boys pound away at them real gains! light weight!

Big Steroids = Big Muscles lol. I mean look at these guys when they go off the sauce it is amazing. Truly juice is the most important element of training. Sorry, it is. See Palumbo, Wheeler, Yates, Martinez when they went off and became 185 lbs.

Lol you can definitely see the Instagram lifters and older lifters from reading the comments.. funny things you have yet the majority of Instagram lifters accomplish what these have
How bout pyramid up first doing strict shit then swingin slingin rockin bouncin etc for your heaviest set or 3 but EVERY set? Your gonna rag your shoulders out. Then you will be lucky to even do a machine.

branch is the purest definition of how you shouldn't lift. regardless of how he looks...his form is terrible..all those dudes forms are terrible...one guy swinging up 45lb dumbells, like they were 80s...45's aren't even that heavy, yet the guy is swinging, using momentum...why not slow the weight down...control the movements and stop relying on swinging the weight up...people will say, but look how built they are...they are built, in spite of how they lift, not because of it...they do a ton of steroids, and use decent weight...i mean 225lbs, doing pretty much incline presses is not alot of weight...it's crap weight...but they still cheat like mother fuckers...haha....
3 exericses for front delts, 1 for side delts... definitly not classic bodybuilders....
