PlanetSide 2 is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online first-person shooter developed by Rogue Planet Games and published by Daybreak Game Company. The game supports battles with thousands of players and incorporates modern first-person shooter mechanics. Six different infantry classes and over 18 ground and air vehicles are available to players and interact on the battlefield to simulate combined arms warfare. As a re-imagining of PlanetSide, PlanetSide 2 chronicles the efforts of three factions fighting for territorial control of the planet Auraxis.

I still remember the funeral event i attended 3 years ago. Was nice seeing all 3 factions at max population just gathered in the same area

i miss playing planetside 2. used to play all the time on pc but sometimes when i get on it feels like a ghost town. id rather play planetside instead of cod or battlefield

brigade leader and retired veteran, here were good times where we played a lot, we made good friends and people simply enjoyed it now... they are just memories, you work and you no longer have time and when you do you dedicate it to other things. It was good, good memories, good people.

Planetside 2 is an amazing game! Even more amazing on PC! PC version has lots of updates!

One of the best games ever created the biggest issue i faced was lag my ping was always so high so i never won close combats

Sad to see this gane dying out, been playing for 20 plus years, console version had over 1000 players in early days, pop left around 2016 2017, then esmirs shattered warpgate update brought everyone back, but then with the storm, removal of esmir, oshur map and no updates, 2024 is at 200 to 300 now, sometimes even less, RIP
