    Thx for the Tutorial. Is it correct that I can only have one export node ? So, what is to do for use both extrude nodes driven by this ? H19 said that only one node can export... Ok one thing is "paste relative reference". But, do we really need more chopnets for more different exports?

    Thank you! Very cool! But only resultat of this FX - not in time with music. When music have "beat of sound" - effect of change parametr - very late. Not in time, with music. Need make "offset", but how?

    • @VoxelFX
      @VoxelFX  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The fast way to fix it is to go to the Audio Panel, then Scrub and Offset Audio. Also, make sure your audio file is good quality, it'll make the result better.

    Nice. Can I record the keyframes of the movements and render out the animation as a video?

    • @VoxelFX
      @VoxelFX  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think that's what you're looking for: www.sidefx.com/forum/topic/22754/
      Alternatively, if you don't need to edit the keyframes, you can simply cache the simualtion/animation by using the File Cache node.

    Hi, when I try to setup the CHOP I get an error saying :
    Error
    Unable to read file "(null)".
    Error
    Unable to read file "C:/Users/mathe/Documents/PROJECTS/Houdini_Audio_Test/audio/Death_test_01.wav".
    Anyone had this problem? I think I set everything right and I tried with different audio format the result is the same

    • @VoxelFX
      @VoxelFX  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Sacha Mathelet, did you check if your drive is not password protected? Are you sure the file is in that location? It might seem like a silly question, but it happened to me several times that I moved or renamed the file and forgot.
      If none of the above, the file might be corrupted or too large. Try playing it in other software and checking the size (if above 1GB, then it definitely needs reducing).
      You can also try to put the file directly in your drive (without subfolders), sometimes the path is too long and Houdini misses the file...

    • @sachamht
      @sachamht 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VoxelFX Hello! Yes my drive is not password protected, I have tried another file on the main drive, to convert to mp3 etc, the file plays fine everywhere else. The file is around 2 MB. And I put the file exactly where the Houdini project is, in a folder called audio, but how do you get all your subfolders inside your houdini project hierarchy?

    • @VoxelFX
      @VoxelFX  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sachamht How many bits is the file? I found that 24 bit won't work, try 16 bit. Also, many people seem to have a similar issue on macs, it works better on PCs apparently.
      What do you mean by the project hierarchy?

    • @sachamht
      @sachamht 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VoxelFX I'll try 16 bit, thanks ! And I'm on PC :) I mean at 4:41 in $JOB you have and abc folder then audio, etc, is that inside the houdini project folder ?

    • @VoxelFX
      @VoxelFX  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sachamht Yes, that's inside the Houdini project folder I created at the beginning of the starting the project :)
      Let me know if you find solution! :)

    hey, great video! how do you do it when you want the audio to drive multiple parameters? I tried quickly with multiple export nodes but that doesn't really work...

    • @VoxelFX
      @VoxelFX  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi rayokuma :) You can duplicate the Chopnet; just remember to rename the export node to, for example, "export2". When the prompt window pops up, choose the option in bold.
