Just received my TRR and am amazed how similar this and the Prinsu are! Basically the exact same design
Very close, but some minor differences. Way better price point!
@@heradventurelife absolutely! Saved a bunch of $$ on shipping and duties. Mine didn't come with a the T-nuts to mount the wind fairing but Kevin was on it and made it right!
Looks remarkably similar to the Prinsu!
Very similar, but not exact of course. Price point is way better though👌🏼
Does Kevin do install as well for other customers?
He has done installs on others, you’ll just have to email and ask if that can be arranged.
Love mine! Kevin is a good dude with quality products!
He sure is! You can definitely tell how passionate he is about his products by how high quality they are!
How tall is the rack? How many inches does it sit above the truck?
I ordered the same one, here are my findings:
- it came with no instructions, not really a big deal as there are many excellent videos to help online
- the side plates had been slightly bent in shipping, a little annoying but not concerning as they go back straight once assembled
- the front wind deflector was not as wide as the bars but Kevin offered to ship me a new one - Thank you Kevin for your fantastic support and standing by your product! 👍
All in it only took 9 weeks to come, it was cheaper than a Prinsu, it is made in Canada and the quality is top notch! 😀
I highly recommend it and can't wait to use it!
Awesome install review 👌, can't wait for mine 😍
Thank you! You’re going to love it😄
Will it work with sunroof? Tilt and open all the way?
I actually haven’t even tried it. But I will and let you know!
@@heradventurelife have you happen to try it yet?
@@jordankozar3 slide works wherever the crossbars are, tilt won’t unless you move the crossbars to make it work☺️
Do you happen to have the length dimensions for the rack?
The length is 94” to bottom of the fairing
How’s the wind noise ?
No wind noise
The links aren't working
Links are updated☺️
Where did you get the mountain stickers on your back windows?

After posting this video and having it for awhile how to you find the build quality and what is the load rating of this rack? Thanks in advance
Love everything about it! Powder coat still in brand new shape, no discoloration to the crossbars. Just built very well all round.
And not to sure of the weight rating, but tons of people with this rack have there rtts up there no issues.
For how long you had Prinsu? And os your 4Runner parked inside most of the time?
I’m having problem with Prinsu crossbars discolouration. Already replaced all crossbars under warranty because they all went almost purple color. 6 months later - they started discolouration again
I’ve heard a lot of issues of that happening with Prinsu crossbars. I have had mine for 3 and a half years, no discolouration and parked outside 24/7. The powder coating has been chipping away on the side rails though. But that’s probably due to the rtt.
cool story, bro
