i completely agree with demarcus, trick needs to be pulled clean for offense, and defense can get away with correction hops and foot slips as long as they don’t touch the ground. 1:26:16

@@DaveWasThereMan my biggest complaint is it seems like different helmets have different definitions of sizes. XL in one brand could be just L or 2XL for another brand and it's annoying

More banter in the conversation! It's funny when everybody is talking over each other, like normal conversations are when hanging out in a spoy. That correction hop bit was funny too. It went on up to scotty's throwback post.
I'm for no correction hops when setting a trick in a GOB though. Offense is setting up a trixk you assume your opponent will mess up. Offense tricks should all be clean.
That S1 helmet looks sick. I always wear a helmet when riding, but not as legit as an s1. Too little option here in our country and really expensive for certified ones.

Ryan I was on Dennis's TH-cam channel and was watching his greatest hits you're rad for that rail and slamming twice in a row ..that's something that would happen to me .. I'm 34 hanging with younger riders that are sick trying to keep up and get broke off twice in a row like Im just gonna sit down now..
Love the foot slip, correction hop discussion. On a trick set be super strict, no slips, no hops. On defense it should the the opposite. Ride away by any means necessary.
Unless it's a 360 spin and on defense someone spins 180 and pivots or hops out. You have to make 270 at least.

Always heard good things about S1 helmets. The helmet being a different color when up close seems really rad!!
Tbh 1 hour is maximum for me. I’m tuned out after that. I appreciate the extra content and feed back from those around you though. Stories behind the scenes are good. I usually look at time stamps and skip through to what I think is interesting

Single foot blowoff: Counts as long as it doesn’t touch the ground
Double foot blowoff: Doesn’t count. Ass on seat is the same as foot on ground. You’re using something other than hands or feet to pull the trick.
Correction Hops: debatable but I think they should only be allowed if the person setting the trick either did a correction hop themselves or says it’s allowed out of kindness.

The S1 helmet is the best fit right out of the box. I bought the pad kit with it but it was not needed. I’ll repurchase the S1 when this one wears out without hesitation. 🧠

Sick looking helmet. Might have to try one out. Got back into bmx after like 8 years to shred with my nephews but I’ve been going to the parks in northern Ontario and kids are pulling their helmets off cause they see me without one so that’s not too sweet, got moms looking at you sideways lol

The way the olympics handle the BMX stuff is pretty bad... Theres very little exposure that comes from it, all these big names, top of the game throwing down for a chance to represent their country and they dont promote it or produce content afterwards... Sure you can find the stream posted to some small youtube channel that noone follows, but it just feels so lazy for what should be one of the biggest moments in BMX.
