Yaaaay Beat Monday is back!!!
You guys are definitely in excellent shape. I live within an easy half day drive from the Sawtooth's, and I can't imagine doing that hike carrying packraft gear to do a roadside run through the "Piece of Cake" section of the Upper Salmon River.
Absolutely beautiful place and so lovely walking tour, simply enjoyable content.

At 6.04 I'm looking at your footwear. I'm a big believer in solid hiking boots. Are you concerned for turning an ankle in that kind of terrain, or do those shoes handle it ok?
