Pal, That storm was super intense over here in Wigan, I saw soo many bolts of lightning (atleast 20-30) and atleast 10 of them were Cloud to Ground. I would of loved to obtain some footage myself and to catch as many of the bolts as possible so show you guys how insane it was. Unfortunately it was just way too wet and constant heavy rain for a few hours. And i really didn't want to damage my phone. But the entire storm was relentless, it just did not wan't to give up, constant roaring and rumbling. By far one of the most intense storms I have ever witnessed, and i really made my day. I love thunderstorms (Especially Tornadoes) so I was even happier to see it from your perspective too but not only your's but everyone elses too. I appreciate everything you do, Please do keep up the amazing stuff bud, I could learn so much from you. Here's to the next Set of storms!

from the US here. we getting these sorts of storms almost exactly like this like every day for a week here in my town over our little farm in the mountains. they didn't do really anything but they looked like they wanted to drop a tornado about 10 times, throw hail at us and flood everything out. luckily only one did damage and was purely from massive downpour flooding out our trails.. edit: stupid autofill..
Love this Gordon. First time viewer here . I live in kent by whitstable . Only been here 9 years and have seen 2 tornadoes , 3 waterspouts and numerous funnel clouds . They tend to gain strength over the north sea and normally have a distinct tail where the cumulus nimbus is drawing its energy from . So if you get the chance to chase down this way the East Coast off Canterbury is well worth a look in . I will be following you from now on . Bring that inner child out in me you do yet I'm 36 ;)
Burnley lad here. I remember a few years ago there was a lightening storm that travelled up the valley. It literally was constant lightening with no thunder in the clouds. Looked incredible. Don't know if you remember that storm.
Dunno whwre abouts you are in the south east but we've had so many storms this year , never known to have so much thunder and lightning in the day as we have this year
Mate this is dangerous, you’ve got no hair to warn you of a lightning strike! Jokes aside really good video, I get monster storms over my house about every day. It sucks living in a neighborhood, never get to see the evening storms with a good vantage point.
I was filming a T storm with extreme hail, standing in the open doorway of my conservatory a few years ago, there was a massive flash and bang. When I played the video back frame by frame, there was a lightning tendril about six feet in front of me that stopped at about head height (Southport). This gave me the heebee-jeebees!
I love your intro it is absolutely brilliant I absolutely love it I love the thunderstorms London had a massive thunderstorm and I've been seeing loads and loads of anfield clouds and stuff brilliant
Good to see some UK storm chasing Nodrog. However last year in Yorkshire North of Bradford in Bingley we had thunder that sounded like bombs going off with huge hail which also brought local flooding. You can get brilliant shots from Bingley or gilstead of storms and lightning. Next time they is storms here you should check it out. Hopefully one day we could meet one day. Also try having go pro camaras on the car outside on the roof so you could somewhat keep dry
There was also a funnel cloud about three weeks ago that developed over the A1 near Sedgefield, quite a rare sight and was very worth sticking around for.
Hi Gordon. Good to see all this. We haven't really had anything here in the East Midlands which is quite sad. Had a few rumbles yesterday but nothing like a proper storm. I definitely feel like I've missed out this year.
Just brilliant mate truly class I’m from Newcastle myself and storm activity is limited but when it happens the warm air from the sea and the cool air from the Cleveland hills down south generate some absolute class scenes so we’ll done for catching rare moments on camera

I live in south west England, nothing exciting happens here. Always too warm for snow, always too cold for extreme heat, get 1 thunderstorm perhaps every 5 years. I have however in my life walked through a waterspout. I was 5yrs old and I was swept off my feet and was luckily caught by a family friend. (Edit: I say waterspout as we were over a causeway with water either side of us, so by definition it was a waterspout as we were not over dry land technically)

I've recently started doing this myself. I assume it's to do with the geography of the land and how flat it is but whenever there's systems heading towards where I live in York they almost always seem to weaken in intensity when they get here. I'm usually going further north but it looks like I need to move further west. Good content though
