When I went to art college there were always 1 or 2 students who had, in my opinion, the most unique and creative interpretation of the themes of the challenges. I never felt I was one of them 🥸. I'm watching you and see you as the premier art student who came up with the most fantastic ideas and the presentation of beautiful one of a kind works of art. You have the gift!
I finally jumped in and completed the entire month after watching the Junk Journal January and July for a few years now. i am so glad I did. I am very impressed with my pages and that I made it the whole month. Thanks for the motivation!
This was my first time doing one of your junk journal challenges. It was great. I liked the fact that there was no pressure. I have done other challenges that were really stressful, which is so silly to do to one's self. I was able to do every prompt and I loved it. I have always been apprehensive about using scraps. I worried about it looking terrible but you have given me so much inspiration and confidence. I know now that I can do it. For the finale, I remembered that I had an unused stencil that truly was confetti. I used water color paints to color each little bit. It turned out better than I could have imagined. Thank you so much!
Thank you for hosting this! I love what you did with the celebrate prompt! Confetti was the perfect ending to this challenge. ❤😊
those stars are such a cute addition 🥰
Meg, thank you so much for hosting this challenge! It has been so much fun! I found so many new people to follow. Who doesn’t love finding new fun loving, sweet, kind people to get to know? I’m about 10 days behind, but I got a lot of organizing done while I worked. I’m still going to post pictures on Instagram. I love your journal. So so wonderful! Hugs, treen 💕💕💕
Thank you Meg! Thank you for the inspiration and everyone who contributed. This has been super fun :)
Thank you, Meg, for organizing the challenge. It opened up my world to collaging, junk journaling and all of the possibilities! I’m inspired to let go and explore. 🎉
Hi Meg. Many thanks. This is the first year that I have done junk journal July. I enjoyed discovering new artists that contributed.❤
Thank you so much for hosting this - I have found so many new creatives to follow, including you of course! Your journalling is an absolute inspiration - your lettering is just perfect, you have an amazing eye for form and colour, and your patience with fussy-cutting is phenomenal! (among other things) I'm behind but have skipped forwards to join in on 'celebrate' with everyone else, and I may use your confetti idea (would be easier with a punch lol). Again, thank you, this month has been amazing
Hi Meg, this has been my first challenge, and I think the best challenge ever! I've enjoyed every minute of it. TFS 😊
Thank you Meg, this was so much fun! I’m new to junk journaling and collage and it was great to have the prompts from the challenge to inspire me and help me develop my skills.
Thank you Meg for another fabulous Junk Journal July Challenge. I have enjoyed this one tremendously.
Meg, I am late to posting this, but ty from the bottom of my heart! Every year, I look forward and prepare for your challenge. I enjoy working beside you to create some fun art! At the end of the month, I have this gorgeous journal that brings me much joy, and it is all bc of you! Ty for sharing your techniques and ideas w us!!! Your friend from SC, USA!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Really enjoyed the whole month of your creativity and those others who took part! I printed off the prompts, made an accordion journal, and then had to put it away due to unforeseen circumstances. But, I hope to revisit this challenge and get it done! 😊❤
Thank you for creating another fun Junk Journal July - so much inspiration!
My favorites were packaging and tags. Thanks for a fun month of videos, collaboration, and art!
This was so much fun 😊 I love everyone’s take on the prompts. You and all the creators making videos inspire me with every video!! Thanks!! 😊
Love your pages. Thank you Meg for organizing this challenge. It was my first time doing this, and I really enjoyed it a lot!
Meg yes thank you. Have loved following your videos and the other contributors. Great ideas and ok to make mistakes. 🎉
I have thoroughly enjoyed your Junk Journal July project!! It’s been excellent!! 😊
Have thoroughly enjoyed this challenge and am delighted to have completed it. Many thanks for your great ideas and tips Meg. Your final page is so much fun!
My fav prompt has to be "thread" because I ended up making a stitched piece that makes a sound as I gently run my finger down it. But I've tried a lot of ideas over the month. Some of my journal pages I love and some I just tolerate how they turned out 😂
Many thanks once again 🥰
Thank you so much, i enjoyed every page, and look forward to more
Thank you Meg for a lovely challenge, I’m a bit behind but have watched all your videos as well as the other collaborators, so much inspiration. 🌸
Lovely page and wonderful challenge! Thanks for introducing me to new creators too.
Thank you so much for presenting this challenge. I look forward to the next one.
Hi Meg, thank you for hosting this challenge. I learned so much but the most important thing I learned was that’s it’s okay to have white space. My favourite page was the tip in. I can’t wait until Junk Journal January!! ❤
This has been such a fun journal. I learned so much. I have now made the base for my own concertina journal for the month of August. I plan to use mine for writing my thoughts and Scriptures and prayers as I love writing. I did decorate it some but plan to do more as I go along this month. August is such a slow month for me so I know I'll have time this month to complete it. Thank you so much for sharing this journal. I will be watching more of your videos. Thanks again for sharing.
This was my first time participating in Junk Journal July and I loved it! My favorite pages were for the prompts observe, tag and tea-dyed. I'm going to go back and do some past years' prompts because I just don't want to stop!
This was a great month of challenges. I've tried new things and used a lot of ephemera that I have had for a long time 😊
There are other new techniques that I can't wait to try.
I haven't done my Celebrate page yet, but Confetti is the first thing that came to mind for me too. (made like you made yours). Your page is great! 😃👍🏼
My "Packaging", and "Thread" pages are my favourites.... I enjoyed the challenge.... Some of the prompts were more challenging than others.... but I'm happy to have made a page for each one. Some of the prompts I might want to do something with, in my Art journals.... and/or future junk journals. 😃👍🏼
I'm hoping that my technical issues will allow me to film, edit, and upload a flip through video, soon. 🤞🏻
Thank you for sharing Meg and all the wonderful creators! I will definitely rewatch the challenge s!!
Thank you for this creative challenge 😊.
My favorite prompts are Spark (1), Packaging (12), Contrast (29), and, of course, Celebrate (31). I made a washi tape cake for Celebrate. Thanks so much for Junk Journal July 2024.❤️
Now I want cake 🎂 😋
I only recently discovered your amazing channel and I think I am going to start following along for August!
THANK YOU SO VERY, VERY MUCH🌹 (Mary)
Thank you Meg!❤
Enjoyed the challenge
Very creative!
Wonderful!
I haven't seen all your TH-cam videos in July but I have enjoyed the ones I have seen.Very inspiring for a newbie many thanks. Will you continue in August with another challenge? I do hope so.
Thank you!! No there’s not a challenge in August sorry, I need a break haha 😊
@@megjournals enjoy your time off.Well deserved.I will be looking at Roxy creations as well as catching up with the rest of your videos. I just love your style.
How do you do that? The handwriting is beautiful! I love it!!
Oh, I love this page so much! The different stars are so pretty. Did you manage to finish all the pages or do you have a page left on that side that wasn't used? 😊
Thank Emma! One spare yes :)
Unfortunately ,just before the challenge started, I had an accident, so when I did begin it was the prompts that were physically easier so it's being done in a different order.
