Because unless you're running an absolute potato PC, the performance gains will be negligible in a majority of titles. I only disable services to satisfy my OCD.
It's not always a performance gain for a game, it's a performance gain in general. As one already replied, that if you have a decent-good PC, you wont notice any difference, but the difference is in general performance regularly using PC, not specifically gaming.
@@BIOSHOCKFOXX not true at all low % fps are significant higher which is huge. input delay is less. if you have amd cpu and enable pbo from auto to enable, its even bigger(only with good cooling) . you have quit a perfomance gain for just doin this^^ i have 3060 and barely fall under 240 fps in every comp game with stream. i had micro stutter and other fps problems. now if something is laggyy or idk its the game i can 100% say with certainty its worth on every rig. befor tweaks i had barely 240 fps. ^^ but i wouldnt download any files where you dont know exactly what they are doin. do it manually, write down what you did change and end of story. Wpd is a good app there was 2 other apps which are really usefull tools but cant remember the names.

add this to renable service and it will be fixed after next restart reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\WpnUserService" /v Start /t REG_DWORD /d 00000004 /f > nul but other services may break other stuff
It disables windows defender, since if you don't know, anti malware executable takes up cpu usage. Secondly i have no idea what you mean by "it blocks it for me"

Hello, you have to go to the taskbar, right click and the last option that says "taskbar settings" then look for where it says "combine taskbar buttons" and put the one that says "always, hide labels"

Disable hyper threading on Intel and disable smt on amd via bios. This alone gave me 20 fps in comp games

Simply right click the taskbar and open task bar settings, change the use small icon to on.
