There’s an anime called Hi Score Girl and one of the main characters, Ono is a sick Gief player- she actually uses this technique to win one of her matches. I had no idea that was real tech lol.
Yes, all the details about the game in that show are actually very accurate. The videos of the matches played in the game are actually recorded by 2 very well known ST players from Japan. TZW and TMF.
she doesn't do this exactly it looks exactly extraged as he holds the stick and flicks it with a single finger not rolling it trough the hand. i tried her method and it works on back motion. shes flicking the stick to do a fast 360, she's not flicking it to skip the diagonal it's a really sick tech for square gate, but i laugh in octo gate as i've never struggled with the input. now if sf2 wasn't so mind numbing in depth, combos requiring you jump at the right spot and hit at the right spot. i'm very curious how they planned out the fights, the ending fight with shorting the jump. like the ones who wrote it are super in deep with sf2 and know everything.
Nice! Glad I was able to help. Once you're able to do this on command, gief becomes even more fun to play. Not only that, this can be used on all games with 360 moves including modern games.
Hi the spring affects the motion? I'm using Qanba with Spring tension 2.0 (usually came with 1.0 and I changed to 2.0 for DP motion). I'm having a difficult time to make hajick motion😅😅😅. Maybe I'll change to 1.0 or 1.5 and see... Edit: (just to clarify) - spring tension 2.0 is a harder one; - 1.5 is a medium one; - 1.0 is the softie one 😊

Such a frustrating anime. Kiss her already FFS! No wonder Japan has such low birth rate.
But otherwise great coverage of all the Japanese 90s games

Best tutorial I have found
What kind of magic is this???
Is it possible to add a standing short to a double hajiki screw for a 720?
No I think after the first your SPD will come out.
I wonder, how explain this? th-cam.com/video/OkoyU8DOqQs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mh1dGUhZZq-YZRAK
Jesus Christ, I didn't even know this was a thing. That's badass, I'm gonna try tonight. Won't do it but I'll try😂
How eo you do to show the hit boxes and inputs on screen?
It's part of the lua ST training mode.

I have default springs in them and that stick is just regular Sanwa JLF.
@@vodkagobalsky so 1.0... I see. Thanks for fast reply. See you at the top. 🙏🏾
Does this work for Hugo in 3rd strike
It works for any 360 character. Old and new games. You can do it in GG Strive.
What stick are you using for this?
The original PS3 Madcatz TE. I've modded the insides with a Brook board though. As for the parts, it's just sanwa JLF and sanwa buttons.
This is really cool, but it hurts my thumb to do it. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if that's just the price to pay for greatness.
It shouldn't be hurting your thumbs. Maybe you're using too much force?
Nice
It’s you!
Hell yeah, masters studies as well 🎉
It's a Spinning Piledriver.
I know it's a spinning piledriver. The technique is about how to do it faster.
@@vodkagobalsky Ah, I understand now. No offense intended.
Having long fingers on the stick does help😅
😮
the most important part is -using a seimistu joystick (LS-32)😂 sanwa is not suitable for old arcade fighting games
Sanwa sticks are pretty standard on most candy cabs. They work fine. It comes down to personal choice.
Theres an easier way to do his piledriver
