I’m just taking everything in that I can about growing flowers, whether we need to grow them in pots or an outside bed, anything I can learn
Same, with this pandemic, it’s a good way to keep our minds busy with flowers 💐😌
Good luck with your garden! It is such a rewarding hobby.
Thank you for this. I was told I had a "black thumb" and have never been good at keeping things alive but I am determined to have flowers that thrive this year. I researched for hours and picked the flowers for my beds carefully based on sun exposure and our soil. Every choice I made promised to be low maintenance perennials because I wanted to give myself the best possible chance, haha. But I still have questions that seem to "basic" and no one answers in a way that makes sense to a complete beginner. For instance, most of the plants I have chosen say to keep the soil watered at "1 inch a week". What exactly does that mean and how do you do that? I have under and over watered things in the past and I don't want to make the same mistake.
Are you talking about water in pots? If so water only when the soil is dry to touch, poke your finger in the soil 1 inch deep and if you feel it is dry, only then water.
Great question! I’ve been wondering this myself!
Wish this video existed a couple of years back.. it would have saved me a lot of trial n error in my garden.. anyways that's the fun part of it I guess..
Amazing video. You covered all the basics.
Thank you so much Keerthi. Hopefully others will find it useful as well.
I am a child trying to make a cute flower garden tx alot😊😊😊
Thank you
Another great video! Thank you for breaking down the plant tag info for beginners like me who are relatively new to gardening in the United States. Please could you share your tips for planning a flower garden - how to balance annuals and perennials for a good look, how much money we should be prepared to invest in it, what are the basic gardening tools we need. (We are hoping to buy a home next year so trying to educate myself about it. Good to be aware of the garden/lawn maintenance costs etc - especially for first time home owners). Thank you Vidya!
Thank you so much Sarah! Great feedback. Actually got similar feedback from friends who are new homeowners. Will work on adding these.
Hey did you get an answer on this? If so, could you share it with me? I am also a new gardiner and am inundated with my flower picks. I'd like to know how to put work with both annuals and perennials in the garden. Thanks
This was such a helpful video for me. I am a first-time gardener and my husband and I recently cleared out two sections in our front yard and put a nice border around them to make a garden, and now all I have to do is buy plants and flowers and plant them. I thought it would be an easy task, but the more I research it, the more I realize just how many details there are! Annuals, perennials, soil, garden zones, it’s a lot! I really appreciate you breaking everything down and making it easy
So happy to hear that it was useful. Happy gardening!
Thank you for this video! I'm planning on starting a flower garden in the spring and this is really helpful

This was so helpful! I've wanted to start a flower bed forever and this really helped me grasp the basics. Thank you so much!
Thank you for sharing. I guess part of this is just getting out there and doing it! 😊
Thank you so much! This really helped!
Thank you Nano. Glad it was useful.
Can you plant anywhere in a yard? I had a miscarriage in my first trimester and we buried our little one in the backyard. I have been thinking of making a garden around the place baby is buried but have never done gardening before. Is that possible?
Yes. Sorry for your loss
I’m ten and we look really similar!!! Idk if you are Indian but I am 🤷♀️
My mom built a very nice house after her divorce and now I want to build a nice garden on her yard , because she told me the reason why she never planted any plant in my previous house was because she wasn’t happy and actually the environment was not healthy and joyful for any plant to blossom.
Fabulous video thank's for the share, stay connected! like

Same! With spring coming I’m trying to gain as much knowledge as possible. Hope your gardening goes well! 😊
Lol saaaaame! I’m getting a bit overwhelmed.
You can do it!
Start slow. It is always a trial and error. I have killed a lot of plants. Good luck!
It is a rewarding hobby and all of us will make mistakes with plants. That's a given so start small and add on once you get the hang of it. Good luck!
Thank God I found this video soon. This will help me well. I’m starting my garden today

Hi, where did you buy hydrangeas?
I want to plant flowers outside my fence. Do I need to move everything else (like grass) and so I need to buy additional dirt? (So many stones here!). Arghh this is hard but I love flowers 🌸
You can try a wild flower mix, those might be able to grow through the grass.
This was very helpful! ❤
Awesome information thank you.☺️ I'm planning my first small garden and I always thought that annuals means they came every year lol, now I know what to look for 🤗 Although don't know what to choose 😩I have both spots full and partial sun.
Glad it was helpful! Yes, there is so much to choose from. Happy Gardening!
This was SO helpful!!
Thanks! Big help

Thank you
Nice garden and good tip reminders👍🏽
Thanks! 👍
This was so useful thank you lol some one told me mulch was so that weeds don't grow
Yes it is for that too but not fool proof. Weeds will still find their way through mulch but the number will be less. Thank you
I like it. 👍
Thank you!
Very nice video! Subscribed. Thank you very much! ❤️
