Yeah too bad general motors doesn't do that and still keep it cheaper, I was thinking 250,000 but I don't know what this car would be worth??? And I don't think I'm too far off I don't know.
This is probably my #1 build now, on TH-cam. You can't even mention a car that really compares to this car. The gauges and interior are what make it so special, on top of the handling and horsepower and how quiet and silky it is under crazy power. But that whole custom computer system that was engineered and made from scratch, with all proprietary software, is absolutely unreal and no other builders have anything that sophisticated and beautiful to look at. The car is amazing, but the interior and electronics system are what put it beyond any other build.
They really should take inspiration from this: GM should remake an electric version of this car, and basically just copy this car. Hyundai did a retro 1980's square body electric car (at least I think they did). So GM could remake this car, as an electric car. It's the right time to do it, considering that Tesla is going to be selling a sharp triangle "truck."@@davidroberson8030

Buick Grand Nationals were built 1982-1987 and had a Turbo 6 Cylinder that put out 276 Horsepower. They were the Muscle Car of that time. This Car puts out 1,000 Horsepower and looks the same. What a nice Car.
You’re close the Buick regal grand national was only made in 1987 however 1986 and 1987. We’re the only two years the grand nationals only came in black. You could also get a Buick regal T type in white or silver with the same motor as the Buick regal grand national
I'm a huge Grand National fan, having owned a 1987 a while back and I'm not mad at this build at all. Every choice made to make it look like an amped up version of a Grand National is really well done.
Such a beautiful car! My stepdad bought one in the 80’s brand new. I loved that car. It was stock and when you punched it, it put you in the seats. He let me drive it when I was 17. I’ve never seen one done like this one. That’s such a great job.👏

Whatever the amount is, if I can come up with the funds, I want an EXACT duplicate and I'm dead serious. I am TRULY in love with this beauty! I don't even need mine to make that much power. 600 - 800 to the wheels would be good enough for me. Definitely the most amazing, FULLY built Grand National I've ever seen.

Truly amazing craftsmanship. I'm a Muscle Car guy and equally a G-body guy. The only thing this car was lacking was the led sequential tail lights ( & third brake light) and the classic rear defogger elements on the rear window. Everything else was just mind blowing. I'll bet Kevin Hart will be a future customer soon.

Saw the Motortrend article on this car and my jaw dropped. I gotta say, certain swaps I'm not a fan of, as cool as they may be...the Grand National and other similar models of this platform (Regal t-Type Turbo, GN-X, etc), I always thought they should keep the turbo V6, because the V8 is "the most expected" upgrade, sort of "mainstream" in terms of idea. I've seen V8-swapped Grand National's before, but never one with this much attention to detail. And I gotta say...despite my previous opinion on V6 over V8, I was sold by this car. It really is something else. Thanks for the video, guys! 😎👍🏻

I could listen to this man talk for hours, my type of man. And let’s not mention the galloping horses this has. Mannnnnn, this is petroleum heaven.
This is like bringing the Grand National to 2022.
Sweet Jesus, I dreamed of a build like this
Shawn, once again, you deliver a video that is just intoxicating! All of the choices Jeremy and the team at Roadster Shop made to this car are just incredible. His passion and attention to detail are truly on another level. This G Body is over the top! WOW!
Wow, this is the Best Built I ever seen. Congratulations to the builders and the owner!!!
those gearbox controls are a dream inside a dream project car. Amazing
Possibly the most wicked build I’ve ever seen. Exactly my preference regarding the old “all business” approach to hot rodding that I have embraced over years….simply awesome!!
Those flares are done so well! I noticed them, but honestly, I couldn't figure out if that was factory or not which fit in with my favorite saying. "When you've done things right, nobody will noticed you've done anything at all."
What can I say, technically at it's finest, Still does the G.Body shuffle, Thank you to the Channel for Bringing us this car, anybody on the planet would Love to Drive.!!!!!
The fenders are perfect. They go great
What a beautiful vehicle sound strong and beautiful thank you for sharing it
I can understand why you were speechless at times Shawn. This build absolutely blows me away. It is nothing short of perfect!
You could also get a Buick regal T type in white or silver with the same motor as the Buick regal grand national
ah the grand national was released in 82' look it up. The gnx was 86-87.
That is one of the coolest builds I ever seen. So much attention to detail.. so much homage to the original. So cool, great job guys
Probably the most wonderful GN I've seen for a long time. The detail of the dashboard who seems to come directly from a 1980 computer ! Great !
I don't know how this is possible but my mouth is watering. This is one of the best restomods I've seen.
This is the GRAND NUISANCE for other cars... 🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🥂
It's so tastefully done. Modern but still saving the nostalgia feel. Respect
Literally the greatest, most bad ass car I've ever seen or heard. Period. The end.
Dodge m4s beats it.
Jesus... this is the most amazing car that's EVER been on this channel, in my opinion! I'm guessing this car is worth maybe $250k - $300k? Whatever the amount is, if I can come up with the funds, I want an EXACT duplicate and I'm dead serious. I am TRULY in love with this beauty! I don't even need mine to make that much power. 600 - 800 to the wheels would be good enough for me. Definitely the most amazing, FULLY built Grand National I've ever seen.
I have a feeling it cost way, way more than that.
one of the coolest builds I've ever seen!
This has got to be the greatest GN build of all time. Incredible in every way.
this is so perfect man.. some older models when reworked properly is even better than newer cars and so much more rare and precious.. absolute perfection im drooling.
This was my dream car when I was in high school in the late 80's. There was one of these in my town at the time and I slobbered myself every time I saw it!
I gotta say, I love seeing Shawn's reactions when he is riding in any of the cars on this channel. It always seems like it is his very first time riding in badass cars that are fast AF. His reactions are so genuine. It's like he's losing his virginity over and over and over again.🤣🤣
lol! I do get pretty damn excited driving and riding in vehicles like this. This is one of my all time favorite custom builds
it looks like the ride is soo smooth, no bouncing at all.
Perfect combo of cruiser and bruiser! Drives wonderfully and when you put your foot in it another car emerges and it’s a beast
Awesome interview Sean! Roadster Shop did an amazing job on this Grand National!
I’m stunned, that is the greatest build ever. There’s master builders, and then there’s you guys, next level.
Best auto show ever!
Roadster shop is just insane and what a build man! Piece of art... this car should not be sold for less than 2 million dollars!
Got to be one of the best episodes to date!! Thanks for sharing it and Jeremy is so down to earth.. 40 minutes went by like one minute! My eyes were glued
That is by far the coolest G-body I’ve ever seen. Their attention to detail in this build is unparalleled. The mix of old school look with modern design and production methods and that gauge cluster system is off the charts. Absolutely unbelievable. I love that people like this exist.
This is the best car I have ever seen in my entire life! I would pick this over a Veyron or anything. This blows everything else away! I would drive this thing everywhere!
WITH OUT A DOUT IM IN LOVE WITH YHAT CAR
Huge Buick enthusiast and the Roadster Shop gets a 10/10 from me. Their GN vision is absolutely beautiful, I'm simply stunned at the engineering, care for detail and the human-to-car integration. Fantastic! Also one of the best episodes ever! Thanks for sharing!❤
Incredibly engineered, super clean - just absolute pleasure to look at - what a masterpiece
Re: getting on it @ 35.00, I would equate that to walking a gorilla on a leash. Yeah, you might THINK you`re in control, but you`re just a squeeze away from escape velocity. I approve !
So basically, it can vaporize street tires at any speed. I honestly woulda been happy as a clam with 600hp. I love the Roadster shops builds, truly some slick finished products!
Crazy how nicely it drives with 1600 horses waiting to run
AUTOTOPIA , THAT GRAND NATIONAL IS SO BITCHIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Absolutely without a doubt a masterpiece build. Great work guys. The instrument cluster and the colored engine bay is wicked nice.
The Roadster Shop builds some of my favorite cars. Especially this one.
Might be the best built national in the world. Don't quote me though because these engineers are toppin each other on every build. smdh love it!
Bro this might be some of the best automotive enthusiast-related footage i've seen in recent memory. that car seems like it'd make me piss my pants, and i'd totally be cool with the experience. i literally LOL'ed at multiple points while you guys were squeezing that throttle out on the road. good god, that's damn near perfect... that's what i want, something that'll make me giggle -- who really gives a shit about track times and whatever. i want the visceral, goosebumps and beads of sweat on my face kind of experience. thanks for this one!
THE ULTIMATE SLEEPER CAR!!!
💯
Wow! Absolute perfection! More G Bodies on the channel please! Also, I’d love to see this shop build a Cutlass and a Monte the way they paid homage to the GN!
442 or Hurst
sheer engineering marvel!!!!! this is georgous...... beautiful.... never in my life saw a car with the attention to detail and to hold the 80's era feel and look..... hats off.... wow!!!!!!!!
I appreciate the subtlety of the choices as well as the seamless
Integration. What a vehicle.
I honestly appreciate these types of builds more than a Ferrari.
Well done. One of the nicest, head-turning cars I’ve seen in a long time.
It's like a fucking rocket that identifies as a Grand National!
That interior & dash is on another level.
Next level all the way
I absolutely love this build. The mods are so tasteful and TBH it only makes the original lines of the GBody look even better.
never seen a car built like this. it's insane with the ability they had to do pretty much anything yet keep it so restrained and perfect in the end.
This is THE baddest car on the planet. So understated, yet so over the top. The attention to detail is mind boggling. That dash, gear shifters, everything !
The KIT looking digi and its screen are amazing. Wow, im speechless, this car is amazing, Ive had lightning rods in my 83 hurst olds and noticed them instantly, phenomenal job gentlemen, yall did the most on this build. Amazing.
That’s awesome! Glad it could sell you cause it’s really that good. I know true fans of G bodies prefer the 6 but this is so tastefully done
@@AutotopiaLA It is.
I always enjoy projects that maintain this OEM look, and this one won me over in all of them. Even the "double digital" dashboard, resembling the 1980's designs. Some retrowave even played in my mind as I looked at it, LOL! 😂
Those replica OEM rims are so badass. 🔥
incredible piece of art - im really stunned how much effort and time those guys put into one car.
nice job!
Wow man. I always loved the GN's. They still look awesome today, even stock. This car looks incredible. The stance and wheels are perfection. The engine is bad ass. Everywhere you look, you see the attention to detail. As the late Tom Hnatiw from dream car garage used to say "Do i need a car like this? No, definitely not. Do i want a car like this? Yes, with every fiber in my body. Yes, i most definitely want a car like this"
One of the coolest cars I have ever seen, what an absolute dream car!
