The timing of this for me is perfect. I started learning to play guitar 7 months ago. I’m 63yrs. I’m my with adult children this xmas and taking my guitar. They don’t know it but I’m learning xmas songs for the occasion. I’ve got song sheets written out ( for them ) and I’m arriving with a box of percussion instruments. 😊. You both might have just stumbled across something Out of all the guitar training or educational videos, I believe this is one of the first that I've seen That basically engaged the teacher with the student and showing how to play songs It's a different perspective for the viewer on TH-cam Good job guys! Maybe a session with You're a beautiful wife on the piano and you only guitar working out cord arrangements for simple songs
Hehehe... got two young ones here as well. They take up so much time. I used to have all the time in the world to just sit around and play my guitar. Now, I struggle just to get a few minutes here and there. This video will give me an excuse to play my guitar especially since my kids love "Last Christmas".

Thanks for these suggestions, but the chords are too low for me to sing. Could you do a video with higher chords so women could join in and sing? I do have a capo but I find the capo to be difficult to use because it makes the strings even tighter and that hurts my fingers far more than if I played without a capo. Thanks.
Oh no, I'm sure that will be hard! I have taught high school for 10 years though so I am acquainted with the teenage brain...however I am aware it's different when they are yours! I'll soak up the cute baby days for now...
