I don’t smoke but always carry a lighter, Tisfa now. I carry an OLight flashlight, will never not carry a flashlight! I carry two knives, one for clean applications…a traditional Case Mini Trapper and a Buck that gets into the dirty work. My wallet is more traditional, old school. I always have fingernail clippers and I carry SS tooth picks. Lip balm, field note pad, and an OLight tactical ink pen. My belt is a tactical belt that holds a LCP II in a Versacarry OTW holster. I have four favorite watches I switch out almost everyday, Citizen, Casio, and two Timex’s. These thing’s pretty much cover my daily needs. Thanks for your content…I enjoy listening to you!

Here’s mine: -iPhone 14 Pro with MagSafe wallet -Custom black and red Benchmade Bugout (I’ve had it forever now and see no real reason to upgrade/change atm) -Olight Arkfield -Pilot G2 (expensive pens are stupid to me) -Stainless steel case Apple Watch 7, 45mm with Nomad band Kore leather gun belt with one of their western looking buckles -Glock 43x with some mods, not putting them all in this comment, in an IKC IWB appendix holster -AirPods Pro G2 And my backpack, but we don’t need to go into all that lol Not too much, not too little, carries small on body and in pockets. Don’t plan on changing anything anytime soon.
My knife changes..but I always carry a light. I’m carrying the Sofrin SC29 to test..been carrying a small notebook and pen since I can’t remember shit I write it down lop but I’m pretty minimal tier 1..I do carry in my belt a knife weather it’s a small fixed or folder and also the hit sauce LEO grade
6 in 1 fastback and arkfeld pro is my work carry. The flathead on the fastback is a great beater prybar. The laser on the arkfeld is amazing for pointing stuff out and the UV is a game changer for charging up glow rods when running wire
I've been watching several EDC carry vids to get a consensus and since I love my job and have a small wallet am being very careful as to what I choose. It's not easy for us white-collar folks. Having said that I am very happy to see you promoting items made in the US even if the price is on the higher side. So thanks for the gungho sharing of tips and the math lessons.

Thanks for the video X! Definitely a good reminder to folks that Tier 1 carry is really the stuff on your body, no need to overload. My carry is: Google Pixel 6 Pro Rovyvon Ti U4 caribiner/key holder Small Civivi pry-tool (on the key holder) Viperade Ve15 small pouch (as my wallet) which holds OLight mini pen, Gerber Dime multitool and Tick Off tick remover (for the dogs) V3 small mini flashlight (900 lumens) Spyderco Manix 2 lightweight
everytime I am tempted go gungho with edc and fill crazy my pockets with things I will not definitely use not even once in the next 6 months but just to feel cool, here comes Marine X that pulls me back to EDC sanity
What are your Top 3 Talk Radio shows? I generally start the day with KFI 640AM in LA, then generally catch some of Clay & Buck/Hannity and at some point hit up Bongino. Evenings maybe a little Mark Levin.
I carry pretty minimally. LG Stylo 5 (LG doesn't even make phones anymore, I'm planning to upgrade to a google pixel) Calvin Klein leather wallet that I recieved as a gift when my previous wallet basically fell apart Any one of these knives (ZT 0450 ti, QSP Penguin in carbon fiber s35vn or titanium 154cm, and Benchmade Adamas) Galaxy Watch 4 (Looking to get an automatic of good quality down the road) Some stone and wood bead bracelets in natural green/brown USGI type II M81 woodland sun hat/boonie Occasionally I also wear sunglasses which are usually Calvin Klein clear frame aviators o my Carerra wide frame sunglasses in the aviator style. I wear simple V-neck black t-shirts most of the time and Wrangler boot cut jeans with Danner leather cowboy boots that were like $100 (heavily worn in, probably need to replace them soon) And lastly my G19 gen 5, though I've been trying to find the hoslter style that works for me, appendix carry is fine if I'm not bending over or sitting for more than a few minutes, but carrying it every day and sitting in a car for more than a quick trip is uncomfortable to say the least (I wear an ANR solo hoslter).
It’s not guaranteed water proof at that rating, it’s water resistant at best and it depends on how fast it gets to that depth also. Water resistance is weird at best in the watch world. I’ve got a 200 meter Seiko SPB 143 and washing my hands and getting caught in the rain is the most I’d subject it to.
The background of the story is the country side in the north-east of the Netherlands, somewhere in the 20's or 30's, when land workers were traveling from farm to farm to find work and earn some money. Here it is (I had to translate it from a dialact which is spoken in the north-east of the Netherlands and English is not my first language, so there will probably be spelling and grammar errors): On the other side of the bridge over the ditch stood a dog, a Dobermann, snarling and barking. Through my 8 year old eyes it looked like a monster. "Come, walk on!", my father said and he stepped upon the bridge. I followed him, with my eyes closed. The dog snarled and growled even harder and slowly walked upon the bridge, towards us. He was ready to jump. I quickly closed my eyes again. Suddenly I heard a splash. I opened my eyes and was afraid that my father fell into the water. But he stood there on the bridge and I saw him closing his knife, his razor sharp Herder, and put it back into his pocket. Beneath, in the ditch I saw the dead dog drifting. The water around it got red. Then I saw and heard the farmer, he was shouting and ran towards us. When he stood in front of my father he shouted: "What did you do with my dog?!" There was a moment of silence and then my father replied: "I'm here to get my salary for the past week." My father had worked the whole week at this farm to harvest potatoes. He continued: "And who thinks I will not get my earned salary, will also disappear in the ditch." My father had his eyes fixed on the farmer and the farmer turned pale. Then he turned and walked back to his farm. We followed him and in the kitchen my father got his salary. "There will be no work for you here anymore", the farmer said. I saw on the look of my fathers face that he didn't even want to work at this farm anymore. When my father died forty years later, my brothers and sisters had to divide the things he left. I wanted only one thing: his last Friedrich Herder knife, which now lays on the bottom of a copper box
I am not a fan of your wallet, belt or pants, but that's fine, I am not the one carrying it. You like it so you should keep it. Personally I like non metal wallets, pants with 2-5 pockets (I really only need 2 front pockets) and as for the belt, I have tried something like that and I broke it, I go through belts like a big dog go through dog toys, so I got myself a fire hose belt. It's a recent addition so here is hoping it will last.
I got: * Arc Co Boulder Wallet * Mighty Hank 007 (I got glasses, these are handy) * Keyport Pivot 2 Titanium * Phone And that's it, no watch or flashlight, my phone does that. I don't use a multitool often enough to warrant pocket space and no knife because knife laws sucks. With that in mind, for me regular pants, as far as pockets goes, is fine. That said, if I do find a pair of pants that is really durable, with minimal pockets, I'd be real happy.
I wanted to go with a copper/brass themed setup because I love patina. But I'm having trouble finding good quality copper/brass gear at a reasonable price. Do you have any suggestions as far as a flashlight and other pocket tools in these materials?
Hi Marine X, super cool video, is it true that the Vertx Stretch is smaller than regular pants and you should take 1-2 sizes bigger to fit it comfortably?
In a world of Glocks with switches and extended mags, carrying a 6 shooter as a primary firearm doesnt make a lot of sense to me. Fun and easy to shoot, accurate, but substatially outgunned by almost anybody carrying and a real b*tch to reload. Makes great sense for a secondary in my opinion. Especially considering you can nearly triple your carrying capacity in a sub compact nowadays
Maybe but if you look at stats, most ccw encounters are less than two shots and unlike everything you described, I can fire a hammer less j-frame while it’s in my pants pocket because of the lack of slide and hammer.
@MarineX ill have to look at those numbers. I see a lot of videos where the bad guys are taveling in packs now X. I enjoy your content, You preach on being prepared. I'd personally rather have 15+1 with a mag that can be reloaded quickly then worry about wether it can be fired from a pocket. I do love a good j frame revolver, they dont get enough love. Just doesnt seem as practical. Only sharing my thoughts cuz you told me to! Keep up the good content! I hope to see you around town so i can shout out!
I got caught with an unchambered auto facing a knife a step away . I bluffed . After that I got a S&W 13 w/ three inch barrel and round grips ( same as J frame ) . Put Pachmyer grips on it . For EDC , I will go wheel !

love nitecore but i wish some of their newer stuff had multi mode red lights. useful if you’re walking close to a road at night, car breaks down, etc.
Didn’t expect that boom stick option
Great video very informative!
Great video..solid load out..Thank you for sharing!
I’ve been wanting to snag the delta stretch pants and I really like MKC knives just not in the cards for me right now.
I bought the 5.11 trail pants cuz they were on sale. Decent pants for hiking. Not for cold weather

I ordered my normal size. Maybe size up once if needed
