Roasting your fellow oiler fan is always fun but if it’s no longer fun it needs to stop. It’s similar to your kids bugging each other and then next ya know it’s a brawl and crying ensues. Keep it in good faith and respect other people’s passion for their team. Appreciate the fan support with whoever they cheer for. Look in the mirror and treat others the way you want to be treated. There should be more trash talk about vancouver not putting the Canucks name on their busses and not allowing fans to have outside watch parties. Says a lot.
I think there are fair weather fans. Come out when the going is good and dump them as fast when doing not so well. Perhaps all fan bases are like this. But for trash talk we have not done anything yet. We have not earned trash talk points. Yet it is out there. But I have always liked the label underdog.

I get chirping and roasting other teams and their fans. Every fanbase does it. BUT, from what I’ve seen online, Canucks fans have a tendency to take it that one step too far all the time. Going after commentators and their families is not cool. Not to mention that for fans of team that was accomplished virtually nothing, in the grand scheme of the sport, the cockiness and shitting on other teams is unwarranted.

Revenue ticket sales and market cap of the team.. even when oilers were dead last in 2010 to 2015 every game was still sold out
