    Kulu is quickly becoming one of my favorite players EVER. Not just on the current squad. What a player. I'd love him just for his effort alone but now people are finally recognizing his quality as well. And did you see his interview after the game? How he is working harder and needs to get better? Be still my heart! COYS!!

    There are two types of fans on Social Media calling for “Ange out”. Non-Spurs fans and vapid idiots. Thankfully most fans understand the concept of a project and the fact it will never be a linear path to (hopefully) success. COYS ❤

    "Fans" really need to stop jumping all over the team and Ange every time they let a goal in or fall behind. It's going to happen. Save the doom and gloom for the end of the game if we lose, we have shown enough times over last season and this one we can fight back and overwhelm teams consistently. Support the team and our manager.

      Exactly! I call them shandy fans. You’ve got Spurs ‘content creators’ that seem to relish in it when we lose like pigs in s*%t. If you’re fortunate to go to the games please cheer them on. Even when things look like they don’t look like getting better. Don’t boo our own players!! Who does that?!? I remember when we got relegated and when we won the UEFA when Ricky scored THAT goal. Let’s enjoy this result and process. COYS!!!

      Thank you so much; our only problem as a team is losing momentum around 65 minutes into the game. But I saw something today that impressed me. We kept the heat on till the end. We will be wildly successful if we can do this in every game. Thank you for pointing this out. Our fan base needs to chill.

      Well said.
      There’ll be bumps as we have a young team and a new “daring and doing” playing style.
      If want “daring and doing”, as I do, then you’ll come a cropper now and again. UNTIL you play it naturally, like the Light Blue Oilers and the Bin Dipping Reds do. What’s the difference between them and us? The stability of management. And before anyone says Klopp’s left, of course you’re right. BUT, Slot hasn’t had to change their style and, mentality, like Ange has with us. And Ange has had to do that through the whole club: playing staff; coaching staff; support staff; etc.
      I want “daring and doing, above all else!! 🤍🤍 No more of the turgid crap, EVER AGAIN, as served up by Nuno (Idea), Moanio, and the poison dwarf. NEVER AGAIN. If we lose a few, so be it. But, at least, “die” trying to win , rather than trying not to lose!
      Ange ONLY needs one thing to implement his master plan: TIME!
      Keep the faith and be patient. PLEASE Spurs followers. 😎

    Hi Sonny. Great to see Son looking very fresh, Kulu running riot and fresh legs with Sarr. The body language from Maddison tells it all. I saw after half-time and also after the game he was visibly upset he got dropped at half-time. Madders can have a pity party all he likes. He doesn't have a devine right to own that spot in the Team and he has gone missing a number of times this season. Had Ange kept him on, the momentum would have shifted in West Hams favour 2nd half simply because Madders has the capacity to slow down the game, often to our detriment. We saw it in the Brighton game. Madders needs to get over it and prove that he can keep it going for the full 90min.

    What a fantastic win, Kulu was absolutelty brilliant, I'm so happy for him and the team. BUT I have to give Kudos to Kudus, he was close to destroying us. The cut across the box has shown another weakness in our defence. We need more man marking, not become complacent. I enjoyed the game but I fear we will struggle against a quality team. I'm enjoying the moment but I know we still need to improve. COYS

    Unfortunate goal at the very get - go (could have been better defensively) but as long as there are still time on the clock, we can back that up with possibly the fastest and smartest pattern of play that the infamously low - blocking West Ham ended up choking on their own saliva. What I loved to see was the different approach we had in our back pockets for specific situations (high block, Kulu and Madders had a field day but low block Sarr was a precious gem that got underappreciated or shadowed). The cameo of the famous 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 formation brought tears in my eyes ngl. We've been stuck with this 4 - 3 - 3 formation for too long that the "Ange got found out" debate came. So to go back to that position with Kulu (what a player) as the 10 was a fresh breath of air. Now let's back that up, Crystal Palace (A). COYS ❤❤❤

    Ange has said at some point. He thinks of players keys and opposition teams as locks. Its not, what do do we do with "Maddison" its how long does it take for us in a match to find the right unlock. Ange got it spot on at half time for this game. Maddison is odds on part of the right combination from the start of a match.

  • @rhysjaggar4677
    @rhysjaggar4677 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Wasn't the perfect performance by any means, particularly the first half. But the job was done well and, in the end, clinically. I can see why Ange made the change at half time - the West Ham keeper really had little to do in the opening 45 mins, despite Spurs dominating possession and pressure. So he changed it up and it worked well. Too many times fans complain when something doesn't happen or subs don't work, so when they do, big pat on the back for the manager.
    Next week is actually a big week for the season - City and Villa at home in the Carabao Cup and EPL. Two more games to get the momentum up for those two - very important to put two more wins on the board leading up to those games.
    Exciting part of the season and the overall signs are looking promising.

    Great game, great intensity, also very good response when going 1 nil down, and cracking start to 2nd half. Though we've had our ups and down, one thing is clear and that's our XG. highest out of any club, clear indication of the direction were heading and the immediate improvement, plus, our GD is already like 3rd highest. And if we continue to build up and improve this side into an offensive juggernaut that score goals for fun, then it don't matter our defence, we'll just score more goals. And I am definitely all for it. Big up big ange, this is what he does people! He goes to clubs that stop winning trophies or have a major drop off and he does a repair job like he "MR FIX-IT". That's his specialty and that's what we need.

    Taking Maddison out improved two things: offense and defense.
    Offense: let Sonny and Kulu play more freely and really livened up the attack and made it more fluid instead of waiting around for Maddison's tempo breaking passes and runs.
    Defense: Sarr played more energy and formed a double volante system and helped out Bissouma which stabilized the defense (especially letting Udogie)
    The team was much more fluid and cohesive w/o Maddison.
    Brilliant move by Ange and I'm sure he thought long and hard after the breakdown during the last game against Brighton and saw the weak link.

    Everywhere they gooooooooooo 😁😄😆🤝🏼. There was one piece of commentary made at the 37th min before Kulu’s goal, “spurs seems to do better when they do one touch pass and it gets them behind West Ham’s defence line every time”. I’d say that’s a very good observation & attention to detail by the commentator. Maddison was taking way too many touches and Ange took him off, we seemed to get behind the lines faster and more frequently. Looks like Madders needs to up his game.

    Madders is a great player but it holds up the game too much looking for perfection when he faffs around. The opposition gets set and it becomes difficult. We always score with forward movement into the box. Also, Madders' corner kicks are bloody woeful. Half the time he kicks it over the box with no one there. Bergvall does a better job on corners. Look at his last one - came on, put the kick in, bang on, and we score.

    • @doggowhisperer6844
      @doggowhisperer6844 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Agree about Madders slowing the play. Don’t think he’s been playing poorly but his issue is a bit similar to Romero’s; they’re both excellent passers but there’s too much waiting for the perfect pass to present itself. I think part of the issue in him playing in conjunction with Kulu is that he seems to be trying to dictate play from deeper, just sitting on the edge looking for passes rather than making any runs himself.

    • @diggeroldmate8122
      @diggeroldmate8122 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@doggowhisperer6844 agree. If the runs and movement isn't happening on the low block, it just bounces around his area. I'd rather see Solanke and other forwards sit a bit further out and run in for a cross from Maddison in that situation. Or just run the goal line like we usually do.

  • @eitosensei
    @eitosensei หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    We easily forget why Ange plays Madds and Deki in the same game. Let me remind everyone that it's because of those teams that will sit back. Because both players play midfield, we manage to break and push, which makes teams come out. That is why teams are careful of sitting back when playing us this season. So, to answer your question, we cannot afford to drop Maddison
