What a great diorama! I have most of those figures that I put in the printed cardboard backdrop which I really like, but yours looks amazing. Nice work!
Yes! Thank you!!! I actually had that too! That’s how this whole thing got started. I had that on top of my shelf and I started adding to it and repainting and I finally said alright that’s it the whole thing! Ahahahah
Oh wow thank you for that compliment, it means a lot to me!. more to come! I will be doing a Lord Of The Rings Diorama tour on Monday! share my channel and subscribe please MOR TO COM!!!
Awesome stuff man! love the tour! I really like how you transitioned the two levels from inside to outside. The custom figs are just fantastic as well. Great job! Congrats on your 100 sub video... now 250+! good stuff. Thanks for sharing!
DanimalsDioramas thank you!!! I almost thought about making some little holes and tunnels in the thick part of the floor outside and making either pipes to go to moisture vaporators OR little wamp rat tunnels ahahah
Great job. I love building dioramas it just takes me back when I was a child too so I totally relate with your story. I love building the tattooing style dioramas.
I just wanted you to know you have been a personal inspiration for me to make dioramas, it's 01:14am and I'm cutting archways in to polystyrene with a kitchen knife 😂 🤣 thank you dude!
I blame Hasbro for not giving us proper world building items. They've been listening in the last couple years it seems hopefully we can see more out in stores
This diorama is absolutely awesome!!!! Man, please show us more! tutorials would be even greater...but I understand if you can't since it's a lengthy process :( But just WOW great video man Those small details are just mind blowing!! keep it up you earned a sub!!
Ah thank you!! Glad you like it! I usually do building pictures on Instagram but have never done a full on video tutorial. That may be something to figure out.
albert pohl thank you for thinking so. I post a new video every 50 subscribers. I share on Facebook and Instagram. Not sure what else to do, it's up to YOU! Spread the word!👍🍻
I just knew about your works, really impressive...I also love the tiny detail you put on em...But I couldn't ever cut a figure, even for display purpose...I can adjust 'em, customize 'em, repaint'em, etc...But, never mutilate or kill a toy on purpose. My choice. I also liked when you gone inside the door or the window, that reminds me that old Michro Machines where you could look inside to see all the details and the people pictured inside. Aniway, superb art, I subscribed. See ya.
Awesome thank you for that! I use to feel the exact same way about my toys. The way they were “born” is the way they stayed. This is the first diorama that I actually started cutting them up and building figured that didn’t exist. It’s with extra or doubles so they aren’t “mine” Ahahahah but yes I totally understand.
Really impressive,I'm in a Facebook star wars collector group, people there would love to see your stuff, you do Facebook you should join, tons of activity going on..
Dan Johnson I would love to!!! I'm @jackoramacom on Facebook and Instagram and twitter too. Please share my video and tag me! It would be an honor thank you so much!
i want to do something similar with the lights, bar distillery, and walls. im wondering how to make them or even get a hold of some of the tables and seats. thx
YES do it! I carve everything out of foam and plaster then I paint with acrylic and brushes. the table and chairs actually came with one action figure and this are really hard to find BUT we have a buddy that has made some casts of them and sells them. check out his shop he is a hero to us all. www.holeinthegroundpro.com/dioramas.html
Jackorama thank u so much for replying. I really didn’t now what to and was a little confused about the tables, walls, etc. Thx man, I’ll totally check out that site!
Where's the big rat from the Star Wars Holiday Special? Or the bar tender from the same special. You do amazing diorammas though, and this will probably be the best, even if they're making a cantina playset from what I hear.
If only the figures were alot more adorable I would do this. There like 15 dollars a figure now days. Are you going to do a Mandalorian inspired diorama?
Yeah this has been a collection that has been years for me. Some others I bought in the past 10, 20 years and they were getting pricey then! I don’t know if I’ll do a Mandalorian but maybe 🤔
@@Jackoramacom yeah I still have some star wars figures from the 90s. Your collection is very cool though. I don't think their are many Mandalorian 3.75 figures out anyways and are hard to find.
Glad you like! Not much difference I moved and had to pack everything up but used this video as a guide to pit everyone back to where they were. I did get a new figure and had to make a whole video to show how I put it in the back there... th-cam.com/video/kab4TiY7KK0/w-d-xo.html
A few years back i was. Watching dioramas on You tube and there was a channel Jack of all trades the guy was a master at customizing figures. Dont mean to be a Nosey fuck wondering if those were your customs anyhow. From every one out there the katana twins are BADASS buddy
I absolutely love this! I loved it so much I started building one myself just recently! Quick question. What did you use for the floor inside the cantina? (the mesh)
That’s awesome! Thank you honored that you like it. I think if I remember correctly I went to Michaels and in the knitting isle they have these 12X12 plastic grids for patterns and stuffs those are easy to cut that’s what I used.
2bit HACK ah awesome. Yes now it’s down to Three figures missing. They are in my amazon wishlist... with CANTINA!!!! in the description Hi. Check out this list: www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/2HJ3WGKL47W4U
What kind of music player are you using for the song? I'm scouring the internet and I have to be entering the wrong words. My little boy and girl are helping build this and without a button to play the song it just doesnt feel right.
You are going to hate this answer and probably do a head slap about how silly this is but....... it’s an old micro casete recorder. I just recorded the music on loop from the speaker in my computer and put the tape in. Then glued the recorder to the roof of the diorama
Lol I gotcha, I found a few that can record 30-120 seconds after I asked you the question, I bought 2. I'd like to give all of our dioramas music, but the Mos Eisley cantina isnt the cantina with our the music..I have a few more questions too. I appreciate you replying so quickly , thanks
Ok, what did you use on the walls? I'm using styrofoam and want to know if I should paper mache it.. or to spackle the styrofoam. I want the texture that you have going on, what should I do?
I wouldn’t and couldn’t sell this. It’s made in such a way that if a light goes out I have to repair it and I’m the only one that can do it. Not very user friendly. If I would make one for a client it would be easy to reach lights and very customer friendly.
As of now I’m missing RUM SLEG and Star Wars 2010 Comic Book Action Figure 2Pack Dark Horse Star Wars Empire #8 Camie Marstrap and Laze Fixer Loneozner
great question Alex. I am very careful to construct for clients and dioramas that sell to the public. when that's the case the lightbulbs are always incased most of the time they are behind wood or glass. THIS diorama however is my private collection so I didn't have to worry about anyone mistreating it. I ran regular Christmas lights throughout and flip on the switch for a few minutes at a time. mostly when somebody comes over and wants to see it or for me just to stick my head in. the public ones can be used as nite lights. I made a "Nightmare Before Christmas" one that actually had the moon made of glass and a lightbulb behind it. also easy access to change the lights on those. not like this one that would have to have some repair done if a bulb went out.
@@Jackoramacom I was happy that they came right off instead of me having to cut em off. Did you make that center piece of the bar with the pipes and Flute droid heads? I can't quite figure out how best to make the pipes.
Trinto Duaba, Rum Sleg and there is a comic pack that came with two exclusive figures that are from the deleted scenes at Toshi station. I think it would be cool to put them in there
I appreciate the great compliment but TheBudgetJedi is a whole other form of diorama, the whole purpose of his channel is to show how anyone can make a diorama using as many found materials and to do it fast and affordable. I love the one he did for the library and his admiral backbar is my favorite piece!. its all good man, thank you again
its all foam and wood and plaster, carved and hand painted with a brush. layers of layers of paint. on my Instagram and website there are detailed pics.
I'm not a "Die Hard" Star Wars fan. But there's no denying this is pretty awesome.
