A35s are already 12 volt, the blue workshop manual under the dashboard is a A35 bible. The heater box goes over the slot. Nice looking van. Looking forward to seeing how you get it together. Congratulations on the 2000 subscribers 👍

It's a 948cc engine with a downdraft zenith carb. 12volt system they never were 6 volt.

That looks surprising solid for its age.
Has the body already been restored?

Yes it was pulled apart by the previous owner and had the appropriate welding done along with a fresh paint Job. This was along time ago and has sat in a garage like this.
