It's the year 2021, and I just binge watched all your SH3D Lessons. They are all very helpful. The idea of using the color picker is genius! Thank you so much!
You made a mistake at 6:25, You can use color picker outside Sweet Home 3D. All you have to do is reduce size of SH3D window (double square icon) and move it side way of Home Depot window, then you just move color picket away from SH3d to Home Dipot and then just pick the color you want. Your mistake is that you were on full screen, color picker does not support resizing or moving windows while in progress, but does support moving away from one window to another and clicking other windows.
I've build a 3 story building using SH3D and made the walls 250 cm high . But when I finished and started putting in equipment the ceiling turned out to be too low. So now I made the walls 50 cm higher (300 cm) The only problem is the ceiling stays at 250 cm. Do you know the solution?
Very understandable for a plan already in the gallery. I tried to follow step by step on my own plan and it just does not work. Not computer savvy and not sure what I am doing wrong. Up until this video I have been able to follow. But can't get this right.
Yep, I save everything to their own respectful folder(s). Just right-click the image and select "save image as" to save a bunch of print screen steps. You can use the windows snipping tool as well.
Hi Rupal. You can't directly import auto cad files, but if you convert it to an image first, you could do something similar to this tutorial: th-cam.com/video/4rS7HN-t1zU/w-d-xo.html

You're welcome. Best of luck with your projects!
In inspect element you could click any color and it would bring up color picker. No need for extension. Great tutorial.
Hahaha the colour hunting was worth it 😛😄 the final look was great, some good design taste right there!❤️

Also, is it possible to save the paint colors (would you just save it as a texture)?
Yes, you can save paint colors as textures.

excellent thx
You could have saved some time by using the Windows Snipping Tool instead of Paint.
Good point. I've never picked up the habit of using the snipping tool. At least this video will be backswords compatible for Windows XP users, :).
