  • Hello guys!
    Today, I am going to share another delicious recipe that can be use for small business or personal consumption. Our recipe for today is CRISPY SWEET AND SPICY DILIS (ANCHOVY).
    This recipe is great for pulutan (for those who love to drink liquor), eating with rice or just by itself for snacking.
    This recipe is very quick and easy to make. Come and tag a long in my kitchen and lets begin cooking.
    Our ingredients:
    2 1/2 -3 cups dried dilis or anchovies
    3-4 Tbsps. Brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. Chili flakes ( u can also use chili powder, red crushed pepper or hot sauce
    1/2 tsp. Garlic chili sauce ( you can also use chili garlic oil, or sweet chili sauce)
    1/4 cup cooking oil
    NOTE:
    1. if you want spicier then add more chilies.
    2. If you are using tomato catsup used 1/4 cup brown sugar.
    3. Stir until all sauce are dry and absorbed by the anchovies.
    4. Let it cool to make the anchovies crispy.

    My achovies were crunchy after frying but after adding the sauce they turn chewy? What did I do wrong?

      Hi sis, cook a little bit longer. Sauce has to be absorb by the anchovies until its completely dry…

      @@sweetflakes that too. Try to add half of the sauce first then work from there. Good success!

      @@sweetflakes sis reduce the amount of ur sauce. Cook ur sauce and then get the half of the sauce to prevent it too wet. Then add as u needed.
