What makes your builds stand out from all the other city mocs is I think that no one uses this much color and texture, and especially not this much asymmetry, it is very italiano :D
Thank you!! The asymmetry is key because I think most Italian buildings weren't built to be perfectly symmetrical. And yeah I love using texture, sometimes I worry it's too much but it does help the overall vibe!
@@BogusNoise You just made my day!! Those are the two accounts I've tried to model my own channel after! Thank you!! Glad to hear YT is recommending the video!
I am very happy that I came across your project! It is so refreshing to see somebody doing something so different from the typical lego city dominated by official modulars - there are some, but not enough in my opinion. You have my subscription, sir, and I am looking forward to what is next. Keep up the great work!
Ah thank you so much! Yeah I wanted to do something different that would standout from the typical run of the mill cities (nothing wrong with them but just not my thing)
@@TheBrickinPanda That's the thing. The modular standard initiated by the Café Corner and MILS etc. are there for good reasons - but in terms of sharing one's city with others, sticking to these concepts inevitably means that many cities look very similar.
The Lego is looking amazing as always and I’m also really enjoying the format and presentation of your videos. They’ve definitely improved and you deserve the 5k
Thanks, I really appreciate that! Really trying to step up my game when it comes to editing and production, having great builds is important but nobody wants to watch a poorly made video :) so thank you!!
This channel has very quickly become one of my favorites, since I more enjoy MOC building over just sets builds/reviews. Congrats on 5,000 subscribers!
So beautiful, it feels like home. I would add a rooftop patio to the orange building, maybe another floor would block the view of the background buildings. Congrats on the 5k, well deserved 👏🏼
Congrats on building such a unique city which really reminds me of Southern Europe. For your last building, a second floor would really keep the vibe of cities like portofino
I'm in awe of your city, everything is so beautiful and looks so natural. I'd love to have city like this but my lego OCD brain would just melt with so many pieces not connected securely and flapping around.
Haha thank you!! Yeah thankfully the sections all do have connection points so although not entirely sturdy it’s not too bad. And if they break apart it’s usually in big chunks
man I love the building techniques and your extra ordinary feel for composition and colors! Really happy that I found your channel. tho the only thing that realllllly freaks me out is the instability of the builds. Pleaaase add some proper supports :)) Will also serve you well when you will soon be attending exhibitions with this beauty :D much love from germany!
Hah thank you!! Fortunately they’re not as fragile as they look, the sections all have connection points and then I interlock plates and tiles at the top so thankfully they’re not too bad. I took half of my city to a show last year and the only items that broke were the palm trees! Cheers!
Initially I thought to keep all the boxes, but now I am thinking to throw all away. For now I keep them all compacted in a little box. Also agreeing with you for the MILS system for lights. I'm starting to experiment it. BTW loving all the big and little touches added today in your city! I would add a little rooftoop on the top of the last building, without a patheo. I've just one question: are you planning to add a tower (like the one from Pisa)? Thanks for the vid!
Thank you! Yeah I will say I kept the UCS Sandcrawler and Slave 1 boxes for about 3 weeks because I loved the box art but was like why am I keeping these I have the builds lol. And yes MILS is the way go!! At some point my goal is to add a tower, I probably won't do Pisa since it's so location specific I want something I can put my own spin on so probably more like the Guinigi tower in Lucca!
Thank you so much, and likewise I love your content! Yeah I’m gonna go with a combo of a third floor with big open patio and then some kind of flat roof but haven’t figured it out yet!
Your city looks amazing and mediterranean. I am just surprised that all the different levels and elements are placed loosely together. Doesn’t this cause any problems with stability? When I add to my city it’s always very sturdy especially when it has to carry some weight on top. It does make any changes difficult I have to admit.
Thank you! It’s not too bad, everything is built in sections and then connected with a few studs so if something breaks off it usually does in a section so it’s not too hard to reattach. But every now and then it can be a problem!
I hate to say it but when I'm gone somebody is going to have to deal with all my Lego my girlfriend and I live together with her three children and none of them get into it like I do and honestly she'll get better money out of it with the boxes

damn this is like the most unique top tier lego town on youtube right now

i only keep boxes for real expensive sets
Makes sense!

Yeah I always wonder though what the incremental increase in value is with versus without the box
Throw them boxes away
Agreed!!
