I am glad to hear an interior is planned. The building features a ton of “glass” with the modern styling but that essentially requires a detailed interior. It looks really cool on the whole but the lack of a stairway or elevator and no obvious spot for a bathroom leaves the mini-figure occupant wondering how much they paid their architect. The 5-12-13 entry is really neat. I like that you were able to put a roof over that spot. I would have liked to see a bit more screen time showing how you arranged the plates for such a unique spot.
The stone wall portion with 1x plates is a nice detail. Personally, I often use 1x1 and 1x2 plates of various colors for fine brickwork, rather than a single color of LEGO bricks common to builds. I have completed the boutique hotel set, and will clad the exterior of the rear wall with a veneer with these 1x plates to hide the designs of the interior walls you get in reverse.
Just watched this video with my 10-year-old in the whole time he just kept repeating how cool this was and how you wishes he could come build with you. These videos are so good they make us want to start building.
Beautiful building! It’s great to see and hear how you built it. It’s a fantastic addition to your Lego city. Love all the light in this building. The greenery and bench seating outside are a welcoming touch. Well done guys!🌟
Yes, like @bry9 said, we wanted elevation for the board walk (sea wall) as well as the beach. We also plan to add lights to the city and wanted space for the wiring under the roads and buildings.

I guess to clarify, You show how the roof is assembled well, it is less clear how well it fits the location.
Fantastic look so far... love the angled road and the builing has a great design! 👍
Wow the whole building looks fantastic, and that angled wall is really striking!
One of the best Buildings i've seen in Lego

Great looking building! I'd add some dark grey at the bottom of the wall where the water splashes up on it.
Good idea! Thanks for the feedback!

Awesome. Great job!
I love your designs! I enjoy seeing all of the various pick a brick offerings being utilized in your builds as I recognize quite a few of them.
Great looking build.
Great City and great work 🎉
Stunning architecture and very interesting construction techniques - I love it 😊
I actually liked when frames on one floor and one side were white :D
very cool
Absolutly love it but maybe if the chains would be in black they would fit the modern vibe a little better
Great music choices too, just wanted to say even though the focus is supposed to be lego, lol
Awesome!
Awesome work! You both have some great skills! 🔥
Great build, the city has a nice clean look, not cluttered like many city builds. Looking forward to seeing how you progress, nice update 😊
nice builds!
So Cool
Love the build! but... why are your mils plates 2 bricks high? Just what you decided on for your city?
i think it’s so he can have a sea wall
