The first rock records I got into was Loverboy because my brother owned some then and let me borrow them, then I Met Mike Reno at an open mic jam 30 years later didnt recognise him he offered his hand said he really enjoyed the music.

How has nobody covered this? Cut out the 80s synth intro. Duplicate the heavy guitar intro, but extend it quite a bit, its way too short. The rest is great, just do the same , emphasizing that heavy riff. Maybe an organ, instead of the synth stuff in the background. This is a great song, but updated it could be all time great.
