I lucked out with my local Polaris supplier and this model was already on its way when I contacted them about getting one and now it should be in by the end of June they said, I live next to a Forest Service Road / Backroad with mountains and can't wait for this.
That plug on left side is for a winch. Really nice that thing comes pre-wired. I have seen guys relocate the battery to the rear wheel well which in my opinion gets muddier. From my experience its really not that big of a deal where it is. great machine you'll love it.
The battery being down there isn't the issue. The 2 issues are 1) Not keeping the top of the battery clean (terminals) and 2) if it has a vented style battery like my 2015 did, water will get into the vents on the top of the battery. Take the vented battery out and get a sealed, service-free battery.
@@aronph1 you are correct, however with constant dirt and water the terminals corrode much easier than if the battery were protected somewhere. Would be nice if they put it under the front cover like other models.
@@matt-diy Yes. But if you take the factory cover off the top of the battery it gets washed when the quad gets washed so thats not an issue. It was for me when the factory top cover was on the battery. It would hold mud/dirt under the cover and not let the battery get clean when I would wash the rest of the machine.
Its too bad its 2 years now they havent given this the upgrades the single seat 570 got like the larger battery, better battery location, charge plug, more tire plies and refreshed bumper
Thanks for the video. We just ordered a 2022 Polaris 570 Touring and expect to take delivery late April or early May. We struggled to find much information on TH-cam also so really appreciated your video. Hope your machine is living up to your expectations? Cheers from Canada
Hey Simon! Thanks for watching. Yes, so far I absolutely love the machine and it has even more power and comfort than I expected. My biggest issue is still the location of the battery...not sure if they changed that on your 2022 model? However, I am sure you will enjoy yours they are great machines!! I will be doing another review of mine at 100 miles. Good luck with yours!!
It’s been great!! No complaints at all really except for the battery location like I mentioned in the video. Otherwise a great machine and still using it!!
Thank you for the overview. One thing I have not been able to see anyone do is remove the seat back. How easy or difficult is that? On the Can Am and the larger Polaris models the passenger seat and back remove as one unit and can be left off for solo riding. I don’t know if the 570 seat back can be easily removed.
Good Question! I am not really sure to be honest with you on the seat back. It looks like it is bolted on but not sure about how tough it is to remove. I will probably never need to remove it.
Nope! Sometimes it would come in handy but for me I like the tougher steering, more of a full atv experience in my opinion. I have never regretted not getting it.

Hey that’s awesome!! Yeah I had to wait about 3 weeks for mine but I absolutely love it so far!!
The plug on the handlebars is for the winch
That small plug by the handle bars that you mentioned is prewiring for either a winch or hand warmers (not 100% which).
That wire that you were trying to figure out is the wire for a winch

ive got a 2021 touring 570 premium on the way in the next week or so!!! thanks for the video
That’s awesome!! You’ll love it!
I got the 2019 touring sp love it, other than the battery and check engine light coming on every now and again
Yep great machines I have no major complaints so far!
Does the touring model fit in your truck bed? I have a Silverado short bed, wondering if it would fit on there with the tailgate closed.
Not sure I don’t have a truck haha. But my guess would be tailgate down.
Any updates you can share? Just see this video. How’s it been? Buying the same exact one but a 2023 tomorrow. Thanks

The dealer is offering extended warranty through Polaris. Do you think it’s necessary based on your experience? Thanks
@@DDrenegade6632 I would not get the extra warranty! Usually a ripoff.
Solid review! Did your machine come stock with those axle/boot guards? Some of the new ‘21 570’s do not.
Yep that is completely stock!

just lift up on the end of the seat its a little tuff being new the seals will be tight but it literally just pulling up on the back side of the seat
@@aronjohnson2307 that’s for the seat itself yep…think they were asking about the back portion.
Wish it had 4x4 lock up
Nice job sir!!
Thank you! Hope to do an update after 100 miles.
Thanks for posting this is the exact model I want but they are hard to find.
Very hard to find…I had to wait about a month for this one to come in. I got lucky.
Do u regent not getting EPS?

That’s a 2020
No it’s a 2021.
