super informative, can't wait! been asking for a saltwater ghost to replace my xi5 for years and this looks way better. any new info when the software updates for the MFDs will be coming out? getting pretty close to the end of Q4 now
Wait... so Lowrance released the Eagle Eye 9, and this Recon trolling motor won't be compatible with it? That's so dumb. I'm trying to come up with an ecosystem for my boat and from all the videos/reviews I've seen and read about, Lowrance seems to be my first choice so far, but if the 2 newer models aren't even compatible, that's dumb.
Best intro for this motor to date. Not even lowrance has provided this level of information. So, great work guys!
Wow! This is going to be a winner for Lowrance.
Glad to see the new trolling motor it looks like what I been looking for
Good overview video!

Well done overview! Thank you
Waiting for auto deply/stow! Is that in the cards?
Finally getting back to the Xi series usefulness and accuracy.
How can you see the directional arrow? Only with the remote? The ghost has the lag issue, just curious how this one works
Hallo with my scout 242 with Motorguide xi5 36 volt max speed is 2.5 knots. What should be the max speed with Recon with 36V? Thanks
I'm going to start saving my pennies now. I'm going to have one before the end of 2025.
I run Ethernet cables only , do I need nema, what am i loosing with it ?
How much thrust? Not mentioned here or in website.
110lbs 36v and 80lbs 24v one slide at 12:00
what does it weigh?
Why doesnt it connect wirelessly like garmin or humminbird?
Wireless isn’t always better , to be honest i prefer wired at times. Just saying

That’s because the eagle models do not support NMEA 2000
Get a better model.....Eagle is entry level
