Hey great vid! Small note @4:22 I have a simliarly speced trd offroad gas model, it has the same layout as your bed just 400 watts instead of the 1200 the hybrid gets.
Center console button is your locking rear differential. Only to be used in 4lo and to get you out of a jam. You should never drive with it constantly on.
So the button you didn’t know what it goes to is the rear diff locker. In the back it doesn’t have a generator it has an inverter. The park distance sensors are very annoying and useless and I removed them from the Land Cruiser we have and replaced them with led lights and we will see if I do that with our trailhunter. The orange wiring is mandated for high voltage and it is 48volts and higher, the orange wires go to the inverter where the battery is in the non hybrid not an “electric engine”
@ as a professional mechanic I do the same as I tell all the customers, on your next road trip have your spouse of friend drive and you sit in the passenger seat and read the manual, it would surprise you how much you learn about the features like some Toyotas have a heated windshield snd many other features, I have seen people who drive their 4Runner for 200k miles and didn’t even know they had fog lights for instance and when I showed them how they worked they were happy.
@@moisesceja5294 What kind of phone do you have? I have a Galaxy S24 and haven't noticed it getting super hot even after running gps on it for a few hours.
@moisesceja5294 Ahh, okay. Yeah I haven't had any experience with iPhones, but I definitely understand not wanting your phone to blow up because of the heat lol.

I have sensors on mine’s and I have 24 Tacoma long bed model
@@Miltonfrank39 Nice, what model? SR5?
You pay more than you get more, off-road packages cost over $8k.
The storage and inverter plug is not restricted to the Hybrid models. All Premium models also come with that option.
@MrRenegadeRonin Looks like you're right. The premium gas model offers 400W while the hybrid offers a 2400-Watt Power Inverter.

@@nostayhome Thanks for the info!
Not all off road models have the sensors, you pay extra that package
