I think this sounds like a good shoe but not if you already have the AF3, Rocket X2 for 10k and under and AF3 for anything above. I personally think that the AF3 is a game changer like the original Vaporfly
Eh the original Vaporfly is thee game changer. In the road running world, there's the pre-super shoe era and the post-Vaporfly era. It's one of the best marathon racers, but the AF3 is not a "game changer."
Did first 10 k Tempo run in Cielo X1. I have wide feet and they feel perfect. First Hoka that fits me TTS. They feel very bouncy but they actually reminded me of the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro V1. Same ride.. Heavier.. More stable.. Like a training partner for the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro V1. Fist I thought its like Alphafly but the longer I run it felt like a chubby brother of the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro V1. Definitely not a racing shoe for me. By the way.. I ❤ the laces 🎉.
I think these max stack carbon plated race shoes can't get as light as Nike's cuz their atomknit uppers are just a lot lighter than every other brand. Only Adidas is seemingly close with their new strung uppers.
Good job showing those Garmin socks for like five minutes, I now think I'll try one of their disposable watches next as the Coros disposable watch is at the end of it's 3 year life 👍

The upper is the only questionable portion to me. Makes it heavier and definitely going to warm over 26.2.

As a triathlete, I'm a bit concerned about how long it will take to get on in transition! I really want to give this a go though.
With the weight of this thing I find it hard to believe you call this thing an Alphafly 3 Rival.
