I have said it before and I'll sat it again. Whoever thought up putting those lights on spaceship earth and syncing them to some of the shows they have done needs a raise. This was wonderful
@@Donilliniagreed! And understanding that nostalgia is powerful. I bring my kids to see this because I know the theme to Horizons and it brings me back to being a kid. They will return because they remember the lightshow on Spaceship Earth.
This needs to be expanded wider through the newer areas of what was previously Future World. Ever since I saw Shanghai Disneyland and the Tomorrowland area with the Tron canopy all synchronized to music by B.T. I knew we needed it at Epcot.
Of all the Florida parks, EPCOT has some of the most fanatic enthusiasts who yearn for the original interpretation of that park. The classic rides, characters and music... You don't see that anymore. IP and merchandise is the new direction. I just don't understand how the current WDW management is ignoring people who are old enough to remember the beginning of EPCOT. Hell, we're the ones with disposable income! They should be trying to appeal to ME! This video encompasses classic EPCOT!!!
This show made me MISS THE OLD EPCOT SO MUCH!! I visited “Classic” Epcot probably eight times between 1983-96, before they started removing the original attractions…and it was SUCH a different experience to what it is now…and I miss it So very much!
It just reminds those of us who were there how "classic" EPCOT was POSITIVE and OPTIMISTIC and, yes, TRULY inclusive of all of humanity and not about tribalism, petty rivalries, and the nonsense of our current age. The music was an anthem to the promise of the future and the family of man. Would that we could go back to that attitude, and quick!
I believe they were still doing it as of yesterday, so if it makes it to the end of the month then that's great and if keeps going beyond then that's better.
This was great. We went last night hoping to see this (since the 40th snacks were continued through Monday), we hoped it would be this version. But, sadly it was not. Why would they only show this for such a short time!! 😢
@@ThatKoreanGamer-r5m That's sad! 😥 I was really hoping to see it in person. Thankful to Craig more than ever for this perfect video! I love every bit of this version.
This was recorded October 2 and I saw people I follow posting about the show yesterday so it seems it will keep going for now at least. That could change at any second.
I think the problem is they could've made this a 10 minute show and played more songs, longer portions so the transition could've blended better and really stood as a must-see tribute. It's still great for what it is.

Agreed. I was prepared to hate it when I heard the idea but it's turned out great.
Simplicity is key. The most iconic thing of the 50th was the cheapest thing

The illuminations part and the original projected lighting were a nice touch!
I love this, especially "We Go On" from my top favorite show that I miss! Reflections of Earth!

Craig always gets the best views of the shows! Very enjoyable to watch.

Holy smokes I miss Illuminations
Incredible! The best video I've seen of this! 🎆🤩
Agree! I knew Craig would come through with the best video of this! Thank you Craig!
Thank you so much for the kind compliment.
This is my new had a bad day video! It never ceases to make me smile! Thanks Craig!
Awesome work as always, Craig. Thanks for bringing this to us.

Love the lighting so much! But also really disappointed that Disney has not kept up with repairs on them, especially for the 40th.
There’s always a list one that’s not performing. When we visited, there were two lights that just stayed red and never changed.
Pure magic, thanks guys
Great job

Incredible job! Do we know if this was a one off or if they’ll be doing it through to a certain time? ❤

@@TheDIS thank you! We arrive on the 27th and would love to see it in person.

Was this one-and-done on Oct 1, or is it continuing to be shown?
From what I can find, it was just a one-and-done sadly.

Nope, did not continue on Monday
@@TheDIS That would be amazing because I'll be there in less than 2 weeks! Fingers crossed.
I wonder how hard it is to fix/change those lights when they go out!
It must be hard because there are a lot with issues that haven't been changed.
I feel like there are better mountages out there better blending the audio from one land into another. The audio here felt rushed.
