    Fun vid. While the old energels were futuristic.. I like there thicker section. Very comfy.

      Thanks! I think the futuristic ones are really comfortable, too, and I've never thought twice of using one where people can see, but I'm a professor and not a board-room-business-papers-person. I think they have different aesthetic needs.

    Leaving a like in the video.
    I've been trying for an hour to find out what these little balls are on the tip of the pen and after a long time I found your video.
    Thank you and greetings from Brazil.🥰

    I love pentel energel line! No exceptions! Could you please also review the Pentel Energel Business gel pen?
    Thanks for the review.

      Hmm. I've never seen one of those. Looks like Yoseka has them sometimes, but they're out of stock right now. I'll keep an eye out.

    Pentel Energel are my favorite gel pens (I like the chrome/color style best…weight is good, comfort is good, and I like the needle tip and 0.5). They do unscrew themselves for no reason periodically, but that may be how I hold the pen with my death grip, and press super hard into the paper (I’ve tried to change, there’s no changing it.) I recently got an Energel Clena, and the body is so comfortable to hold and write with….it may be the one I switch to as my standard go-to! I’ve never tried the Kuro (and I’ve never seen it,) but if it’s narrower and lighter, I probably won’t like it as much (price is great!) Mildliners will smear the ink, but I’ve never tried other liners over it. Zigg dot markers don’t smear it nearly as bad. I think the Mildliners are known for smearing everything, tho, so probably not the Energel’s fault.

    Just got a two pack of the .7mm in black, good looking pens I wish they were metal tho lol I have yet to write with them yet I will update once I do

    I picked a pack of 3 the other day. 0.7 mm black. Depending on the paper you use determines on how scratchy they write. Still, a good pen for a 0.7 mm pen.

      I like the refills in Energels a lot, but these mostly end up going in fancy pens because the Kuro barrel is just a bit thing for me.

    That silver pen is a uniball. It literally says uniball right on lol

    If the Energel had a thiner grip and a bit more feedback from the tip, it would be the perfect Pen!!!

    " KURO" is Japanese for Black i believe.

    I heard someone say that the Ink in Pentel Energels drains Pretty Quickly

    • @inkdependence
      @inkdependence  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Drains? If you mean that it's used up fairly quickly, then I'd say that's relatively true. Gel ink is thicker than ballpoint, and so you will use them up more quickly.

    They're a cool looking pen. Is their ink any different to the rest of the Energel range? Or is there no difference, just a different body?

    • @inkdependence
      @inkdependence  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's just the body that's different, as far as I can tell.

      @@inkdependence No bad thing. The Energels are the best gel inks I've tried so far for smoothness and saturation. The inkjoys have them beat on a few of the colours though IMO. Their purple is fantastic.

    So, did it turn out to be too thin for you?

    • @inkdependence
      @inkdependence  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use them sometimes, but they aren’t my favorites. The barrel feels nice, but it needs to be a little thicker for me.
