No! The blades do NOT reorientate inside the housing. At best, they will work but less effectively, at worst you will shear a blade off and have to recover it from the heat exchanger. You must have them all bent over in the same ((correct) direction.
It’s good practice to correctly orient the blades initially using soap to lubricate but otherwise what nonsense! Maybe this holds true when stringing a guitar but you’re daft and misinformed about impellers. Diesel engines can slightly kick back and sometimes reverse the direction of the impeller blades at the end of unsuccessful starts or during a shutdown. Larger 8 cylinder and above turbocharged engines are especially prone to this. Why do you feel the need to post such rubbish in absolute, ill informed terms? You’re needlessly scaring people who just want to learn and enjoy some new life experiences.
