    With this dual HDMI KVM set up could I do the following ?
    For the hot keys 3 and 4 where I’m using each monitor for separate input (mode where I’m just switching keyboard and mouse but have separate computers showing on each monitor) use the laptop as a “2nd” monitor of that input computer ?
    For example…
    monitor 1 = personal desktop
    Monitor 2 = work laptop with it open like your mac and use that laptop screen as well so making dual monitor setup with the laptop and monitor 2 while having monitor 1 stick to personal computer
    In this setup, I would essentially have a dual monitor solution of work laptop screen + monitor 2 and switch back and forth between this dual setup and the monitor 1 with personal computer

    Another good video. I use one of these Tesmart KVM to share monitor, keyboard, and mouse between my r13 and x17. It’s very convenient. The remote is nice if you want to put the KVM out of site. I have it near my router and modem under the desk so the remote comes in handy. I was pleasantly surprised at how well these Tesmart kvms work as u read some poor reviews. But I think those that had trouble just didn’t fully understand their requirements so they might not have selected the right model for them.

If I put a 3.5mm audio splitter in the audio out, then plug my speakers in one and a headset in the other do you think that will work. I know both would be running but I can mute one or the other on the actual device depending on which one I want to use. 2. This video is a little older now and all newer models come either usb3 which will make what you ask easier. I would either plug a small usb hub into the usb3 port on the TESmart if I needed to share more than 3 devices or if your monitor has a usb hub you can use that (this is what I do with my 4 port usb hub built into my dell 4K ultra sharp )

    Might have missed it, but it should be noted that while you can connect it to a gaming PC, it is not ideal given that it supports only 60Hz. So anyone out there with 144hz monitor don't just buy this for the sake of using with the gaming PC. I connect my PC directly to the monitors via DP, and use the HDMI ports for kvm.

    • @MashITTech
      @MashITTech  ปีที่แล้ว

    Total waste of time and money. Bought directly from the manufacturer. Very slow in changing from PC1 to PC2, sometimes not even identifying monitors, a restart is required, slows down both connected PCs, etc... it has been overadvertised, but not really worth it

      Wow, are you sure yours wasn’t faulty? Mine was quick to change sources! And what do you mean slows down both pc? How is that possible the pc just sees it as a monitor?

      @@MashITTech "slow down" here refers to keyboard and mouse response through Bluetooth dongle, changed couple pairs, with different USB versions, still the same

      oh how annoying! I do not get any with my 2.4ghz dongle. I don't have a bluetooth dongle to test. Have you reached out to their support? Maybe there is a firmware upgrade or the unit is faulty :(
