    Thank you, Leigh. I was beginning to get into a rut with playing my Genos, but your video has opened up a whole new range of possibilities.

      Glad I can inject a little more interest for you Hywel. Keep hold of your Genos as I’m sure Genos 2 is just around the corner.

    Hi Leigh, As soon as I saw this change of style I went to my Genos and tried it and found it to be brilliant. Thank you very much for all the things you have showed since I joined.

    Very nicely explained and super intelligent! What exactly is annoying in styles is that they are so full and your replacements make the style so much nicer! Thank you Sir!

    It's useful to reinforce these features, usually the complexity and choices available within the keyboard overwhelm causing brain fog 🙂 Plus it's not always obvious the best way to go about making changes, even simple ones. Keep up the videos

    Exactly! We generally use styles sparingly due to making every song sound the same or constantly repeating one of the parts..

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are an answer that I have been desperately searching for. I found this incredibly helpful. You are so right!!!!!!!!!!! I only use Genos to write my own songs as well, but since my left hand is not as strong as my right hand capabilities, I use the accompaniment styles, but only so many are truly useful, can only be used once and like you said actually get on your nerves after a while. I will play around with your suggestions. Thanks again!

    Would you recommend this method to transform a style into a backing track that serves as the foundation for your own composed song? Once modified, you could utilize it in the audio recording process, layering your vocals over your original composition to create an audio file ready for use in a digital audio workstation (DAW) for final mixing. Alternatively, would employing the Style Creator be a more effective approach? You could input your original song's tracks into the keyboard, then employ the audio recording process to incorporate your lyrics onto the style you've created, effectively using it as the backing track for your newly written song on the PSR SX900?

    • @LeighWilbraham
      @LeighWilbraham  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes I would. Less is more and as you say using say the drum bass and guitar pads form a simple but effective starting point.

  • @MrWkdWilly

    Thanks Leigh, great vid, just a quickie question..with multi pad voices that are a press button, single play” is it possible to change them to continuous play..ie repeat?
    Cheers

    • @LeighWilbraham
      @LeighWilbraham  ปีที่แล้ว

      The single hit voices would make no sense looped which is why they are hits instead of loops. The voices that should very looped are so already.

    Thank you very much for all your videos. Would it be possible to create a style where the bass is changing all the time between C and G when playing a C maj chord but when I change to G7 the bass is changing between D and G and not between G and D. In other words - I want to have the first and fifth in C maj but the fifth and the first in G7.

    • @LeighWilbraham
      @LeighWilbraham  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can play your own bassline with a Midi pedalboard and bypass the style bass.
