    Hi Bas! Just want to say a deep thank you for all the videos you have been posting. I am trying to watch all of them haha, quite challenging but out of each one, you teach me some very nice visualization tricks for the monthly KPI report I am doing and different powerBI tools I designed for operation (I work in logistics). Your out of box thinking is really amazing and something I cannot find elsewhere. Please keep up the good work like always and bear in mind each video you released benefit so much people out in the world that you can’t possibly imagine❤

    Again, another amazing video I stumbled on trying to make my bar charts better looking! Idk if I couldn't follow along well enough but it looks like the latest versions of PBI no longer have the custom labels feature you demo'd at 4:23. Regardless, amazing video thank you so much for the guidance!!!

  • @SimplyUnsafe
    @SimplyUnsafe ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This has been a major pain point for me in Powerbi! My solution was to create a crosswalk of shortened/abbreviated category names to get the whole value to fit in a barchart, but I like this solution much better. Its very clean and easier to maintain (ie, in my solution I'd have to watch for new categories appearing to create a new abbreviation).
    Thank you for your videos, you always have such creative workarounds to the limitations in PBI.

    Great video. It’s a real shame that Microsoft isn’t investing time and money into improving visuals. This is a very basic feature imo that should come out of the box. If you look at some of the out of the box features that come with datadog (I understand that’s a monitoring tool but it’s still a data visualisation tool) it really highlights how behind Microsoft are in visualisation. I love power bi but it takes too long to create something visually appealing when it doesn’t really need to.
