Despite the excellent reviews, I wasn´t completetely sure about this one. HOWEVER, today I was having quite a boring day so I decided to give it a try. I have fallen head over heels in love with it :)

This is actually the only game I've ever played on Steam because I didn't think it was going to console at the time. Aanyway, I love this game. So much. It's so so great. Play it right now, what are tou doing? Play it!
I just wanted to mention this, but when you're fishing, you don't need to mash the button. Just hold the button, and go in the opposite direction of the fish. It works for me, at least.

The “big and crunchy” (lol at their choice of words I this terrific game) was too much for my daily migraines. I spent 40 minutes playing beachstickball with the npc 😂 Game really helping me with this year’s terrible events.
I loved A Short Hike. It is one of the few games I could finish next to Kirby Star Allies and Yoku's Island Express on Nintendo Switch. I am not an avid gamer. Unfortunately, remaining two achievements daunted me. No thanks to 1st Place in all three Parkour Challenges, Score 30 points Beachstickball Challenge.
I bought the game when it came out and finished it the same day. I really enjoyed my time with the game, and will probably do a 2nd playthrough. I didn't do everything during that 1st time through, so I'll likely attempt a 100% run.
I'm so surprised that all the reviewers I have watched so far go for the pixelated option. I think the smooth version is a lot more beautiful.

Looks gorgeous. And I love that its a small and quick game but with a full world.

Kirby games are always worth finishing to the end. Most of the time I have to slow myself down to not tear through Kirby.
