MMDA Chairman in Divisoria

- Recently you’ve seen the MMDA operate in Divisoria a number of times. They've been removing illegally parked vehicles and clearing the sidewalks and roads of vendors and other obstructions.
What you see in my videos is just the end result. There's a lot of planning and coordination that goes into these operations. And ultimately the orders come from the MMDA Chairman, Danny Lim.
Today the Chairman visited Juan Luna to inspect results of the clearing operations. When he arrived, the vendors had made a human barricade to try prevent him from entering.
Every effort is made to find alternative places for the vendors to operate and to provide any support they need. But make no mistake, the MMDA will stand firm in their mandate to clear the sidewalks and roads.

When corruption is avoided and ignored...the problem gets too big to the point where it becomes too late and no one is happy or satisfied.
Abusado ang ibang vendors. when you give them your hand they want your whole arms...
One segment can have limitations with time and slots for appropriate areas. Certain streets can have proper parking in certain times of the day or certain days. Weekends especially. In vending , mobility plays a big part in it and organization is key. This plays a major part for the inspection, fire department and the cleaning crews.
Look at Baguio , we have a night market and tourists come and enjoy shopping around . Vendors are not complaining and they're contented with the hours the city government give them . Why can't these people from Manila do the same.?

Once the new rule is effective and these vendors does not like to follow it is time to put them in JAIL! I can easily read that poor mans face that he will disobey the law to be implemented in that place. I do not believe his words. These people are disobedient.
The issue is the occupation limitations in selling and vending. It is really a fire hazard.
It takes a couple of months to clear and organize a section. Just have some relief programs for the people just for a few months. Your results will become better than you can possibly dream of.

Eto na naman sila sa drama nila at walang katapusang litanya na "magugutom mg anak namin, maawa naman kayo" . Minamanipula ang mga isip ng tao ang ginagawa ng mga pasaway na vendors na iyan. Ganyan na lang ba lagi dramahan at pakiusapan. Dapat talaga malaki ang multa at wala ng satsat pa. hakutin pati aninda at kahit magiiyak pa ang mga iyan, NO MERCY.

Take one governing party to write contracts and regulations for sections and sectors where vendors and the lead of the section is signed and agreed. Without issues if issues occur they will pay or be confiscated.

Just keep in mind that one section can't mix with the other. Food can't be with other goods. Medical and other health supplies can't be with others. Livestock can't be with others. Clothing and other personal items can't go with each other. If they fail this and fail to go by the rules then...they pay or confiscated.

Sa totoo lang kung matyaga sila simple lang talaga ang sagot sa hinanaing ng mga vendors dyan sa divisoria/tutuban area at yun ay Resolusyon, dokumentong magbibigay sa kanila ng tamang pagamit ng espasyo ng bangketa, karapatan ng pagtitinda na walang inaalalang paggambala sa kanilang pangkabuhayan. Resolusyon lang na galing sa city hall na aprubado ng lgu, mmda, barangay at lagda nila na katunayan sa pagkakasundo na kung ano ang mga batas/tuntunin na dapat sundin sa nakaakda sa resolusyon. Ang gusto kasi ata ng mga yan may magaasikaso pa para sa kanila.

Need to setup a time business and a time for people who are commuting, especially for children who are going to school. Set a time for street maintanance, school commute. Not necessarily get rid of business but you cant conduct business without compliance to maintenance and safety.
