Bro, I am looking to buy used Superb 2009-2012 model with automatic gear box. The diesel one is 100 NM higher than petrol. Should I look for it or is there any down side to it? Or is petrol one good enough for most usages and has any maintenance advantage or less engine noise? Thanks in advance.
I am looking for a used automatic car with best performance in it any other car which goes faster than this in same class ?? What will be your suggestion???
If, you get a well maintained 2011 DSG model then go for it. Most lengthy cars are preferred as autos so it'll be a chill scene to drive. Being light on the pedal would help although it's a pain to do that due to the lack of an eco driving mode, the mileage figures won't be as much as the manual variant: around 5-6kmpl in the city as compared to 7-8kmpl in a manual.
I hardly comment on youtube channel but I must say, this is the first video in the last few years that I've seen without a skip. You're so evident and I would not ask for any more expositions. You've covered everything really well! BTW the question I have right now is, "Do you recommend switching onto a used Superb 2011 from a Honda Accord 2011 AT? Well, the Accord runs great but the only thought of asking such a question is the reliability of Skoda's transmission box and the driving experience and the parts availability, thanks in advance!
Thank you for your kind words. I'd suggest staying with the Accord AT due to Honda's reasonable service. In my case I'm using a manual Superb, hence, it isn't difficult to maintain. Besides, finding a top condition 2011 DSG Superb would be a hassle let alone maintaining it, due to the DSG. Parts are available outside comfortably but certain DSG parts are difficult to fit in from outside mechanics. It would force you to visit a Skoda workshop where you'd end up shelling out a lot on repairs. However, if you get lucky, the DSG is as slick as automated gears can get.
@@raspreetgill _ I heard the same thought from one of my friend and now I believe I will stick to Accord AT only, as I already got all the suspension and the lower control arms changed from Honda, It runs great so far but sometimes I feel if that had turbo too, nonetheless, I won't get much into swap deals by the dealer anymore. Thanks much brother & take care! :)
@@raspreetgill 1 year later i am in similar dilemma although have found decent superb 1.8 tsi manual , 2015. First owner and 60k mileage. The dealer is quoting 8 lakhs. Orange book value is showing at about 7lakhs ? Whats your opinion ? is it fair value? ( car is maintained well and comes with 1 yr warranty )
Hey! I got a question! I found a 2011 Skoda Superb Elegance, 1.6 TDI, for 5.5k £. Some minor stuff that was needed has been exchanged for new, and they repainted like 1/3 of the car due to some rusting or other stuff. Is it worth it? Will that last some years at least? I'm worried that since it was rusty and already had to get some paint work done, that it would be a problem again.. Any help?
Sir I’ve recently purchased 2010 superb 1.8 tsi dsg, it’s well maintained and only driven 19k km, now everyone says it has megatronic failure, does it happen to every car ? And I only drive in speed limits. 120 max
Hey Sumanth, you need not worry, now there’s a lot of local workshops that manage to tackle DSG problems at reasonable prices but if you maintain it well and drive as you said you would, it’ll all be good!
Hello sir, gr8 review. what are your views about general service of a skoda superb 2012/13 petrol manual model ? authorized skoda?, or buy genuine products from authorized service center and get it replaced in local ( i dont know if that's possible but if it is, atleast the labour charges can be minimised) , or these new kind off branded service centers like go mechanic, pit crews etc . ? thankyou in advance.
Skodas after sales service is PATHETIC. Don't buy a skoda in the first place. Trust me. I've owned a superb for 8 years and it was horrible. Buy a toyota or a honda instead
@@vaibhavjain-ht3zz sory to hear that. Fortunately I've not faced any thing of that sort yet in delhi. Once a year visit to showrooms have been decent. My reason to post this question was just that the car is now 7 yrs old.. so is it still worth spending 25 k at service center or 10 to 15 k from outside would do the job.
Hey Chirag, if it’s a general service, u can go ahead with an authorised Skoda workshop but if there’s some repair work even if it’s wear and tear then there’s a good number of genuine workshops doing VW, Skoda and Audi service, parts, etc. outside. The ones outside would have u present while you’re vehicle is being worked upon and their rates for parts is way more reasonable. For instance an inter-cooler in an authorised Skoda workshop goes for around ₹45k; meanwhile, in ₹50k outside you’d get a performance inter-cooler.
Car batry died today. Probably will have to replace it. Should I buy the batry from the authorized skoda dealer or a reputed company batry from the market ? Skoda batry is 40 to 50 percent more expensive than the market ones. Thankyou in advance
Bhai, agar aapko lagta hai ki gaadi mein koi problem nai hai toh Skoda se karwalo par kuch Rs.25000/- k lagbag kharch hoga aur kafi acche tarike se service hogi. Agar kuch problem Skoda ne dhoond nikala toh woh aap par hai kaam unse karwane ki ya bahar se, iss case mein kaam bahar karwana best rahega kyuki parts bahar available hai. Bahar service kuch Rs.10000-15000 tak hoga.
Skoda diesel automatic mileage kitna deti le ..me bhi lene ki soch raha hu .ak car he 250000 km chali Hui he 2011 ka model he usme kya dekhna padega. Lete wakt.
Planning to buy a new Skoda superb - should I go for it ? M scared regarding poor service and delay in getting parts I reside in third tier city Should I even consider skoda superb for its service and how about the resale value of this car ?
Hey, I'll begin with saying that OEM parts are easily available outside at pretty much cheaper rates than the company, but the fact that you're residing in a third tier city you might find it hard to get your hands on them. Now, for Skoda's poor service reputation, they've come up with 6 year warranty offerings excluding wear and tear parts. So, if you do decide to buy a new Superb most of your worries would be covered due to the warranty. There's also some reasonable service packages for 3-4yrs that you could pick from, making it completely hassle free at your annual service. Finally, in terms of resale this is where costlier Skoda's like the Superb tend to suffer and so they're good for claiming depreciation benefits. However, if you maintain it really well, it wouldn't cough up with any major issues and you'd consider keeping it for over 6yrs surely and not bother about resale.
I have same skoda superb & I want make top in black colour.
Please help how to do it......?

Your opinion on DSG one..? How does that ( looking at 2011) particular variant perform? What about the mileage if you are fairly tight on pedal.

Hey Emilia, for 5.5k it’s on the pricier side, plus the rusting sounds like a mess up, so simply put: avoid it.
Hey what About the V6 one? Some Say That It Was Unreliable and Used To Consume Lots Of Fuel?
Yes petrol model
