I own the exact same model and color as in the video. I own a petrol though. Drives like magic!
The car is absolutely superb but I have 1 a few complaints though:
1. The rear can be really uncomfortable in hot humid conditions because the front ac vents are a mile away and the rear blowers are very tiny and not much helpful.
2. Oh no wait, that's the only complaint I have with the car.
Otherwise it's awesome - Comfort, luxury and talk about space. It's at least twice as big compared to A6, 5 or E from the inside. Love the front n rear LED lights. Suspensions are awesome - you will never feel a bump on this one. Bolero speaker system is awesome. Overall small details are very thoughtful. Like home coming and home leaving lights. It's better than the A4 or at worse a match of it in many many ways. It's definitely much better than C or 3.
If you considering a car in this segment, just close your eyes and buy.

I'm having idea to buy Superb 1.8tsi automatic 2012..
Is that safe to buy? Or should I face heavy expense on dsg or turbo failure like that?

I got the Estate L&K with sun roof.
Fantastic Car.
Have one for last 4.5 years. Done 65000 kms. Battery changed twice....it once got spoilt during the warranty period, but the company refused to do anything. And now....the TURBO conked off. Set me back by Rs 2.11 lacs!!! Makes me wonder...is this the quality of the car where a part like the turbo lasts just 65000 kms??? From a die hard fan have become a bitter user. Sadly....the company guys dont care!!
I was thinking of buying a used superb 2010 petrol 1.8tsi automatic for 3.5lakh

Here in Sweden, there are a lot of people talking about bad things about the Skoda. They think it is the worst thing you can buy and I cannot understand them at all. Skoda seems to be the best brand you can buy considering the money you pay and the car you get. I hope more people will understand how good this car is and start like it. :D

Excellent review as always. Small correction at 6.30-6.35 . Dont think the Superb ever sold 1000 copies per month. D2 segment put together had been struggling to see 1000 mark.
one of the best cars i have driven, i went to three different showrooms to steal test drives, before running out of dealers, and courage because i do not look rich enough to be a prospective customer. skoda surely is upping their customer service, i know it from first hand experience, bought a third hand skoda laura 3 years back for 5 lac, and all these time, they have only become more and more considerate. The cars are not that expensive to service if you dont nick it or damage it..the service intervals are great, and most importantly the car wont rattle and squeak as early as some other cars, given the build quality.

You guys are way better than the auto car and all the Indian shows who just give regular info about the car like they are reading it from paper. Way to go guys, you shud start Indian top gear or something similar to BBC top gear.

Undoubtedly best car and good review. This review covered about very minor negatives(which we can live with) in detail, but didnt cover biggest negative in detail, ie after sales. Skoda will never get repeated customers or customer who want to upgrade their car, only because of after sales. Services center people are literally thieves, no other word
I've been using Skoda car for a while, till now i didnt see any improvement. Everytime i go for service, they want to change as many things as possible. Skoda service engineers are utter crap, they donot know anything, for any problem there is only one solution from skoda service "change every possible part", as per their stock availability. I wish PD can cover more about after sales, again, please donot do review just for advertisement purpose.
As long as you donot cover the biggest draw back, and try to cover it up by saying "skoda trying their level best", your review is just 8 min advertisement.

But i donot agree that your review is complete with single line negative. Please do some research on service part of skoda or best way is, own a 2yr old skoda car :p

Excellent review guys. Your review quality is leaping on each passing day. Keep it up. Just love this car….Its far more comparable to other luxury models out there on BMW and Mercedes … We have driven this Superb “combi” in Europe(NL) on the rental car. It’s much better car than the one in India

Guys last night I drove this car for about 25 kilometres in Delhi and I can't even tell you how my heart has been stolen. I have never driven a better car. The superb belongs to my friend. But it seemed far better than my dads E200 for almost 20 lacs less. Remarkable. I'm humbled. This is beyond me just showing off guys, I love this car.

Proper and timely maintenance can go a long way and help engines run smoothly. If proper maintenance is not carried out periodically, any vehicle will start having issues.
