We have witnessed what she is capable of already and that's what makes us like her. We will just be anticipating what kind of attack she'll be doing next. We are just waiting to be blown away. It's nice, they're really great, but the reason why asap removed the segment is either because hndi na kaya ng individual sched nila, o hndi lang talaga pumatok kasi nag flop ang concert nila, at wala nang naghahanap o nagrerequest na ibalik ang BQ segment.

I really wish for ryssi to win. I think its about time to embrace singers like her na hindi kelangan bumirit lage to produce good music. And tbh, sa ngayon, nagbabago na din ang gusto ng tao. Some people enjoyed listening to music like this. Hindi birit pero you can feel every word. Yung kahit di ka naman broken feeling mo broken kana. Same with moira.

Yung part na bumirit sya, "wala na, wala na kong maramdaman." I loved it. You can feel the agony, the suffering, the pain. That's the kind of belting I would love to listen to. While some singers do belt just to showcase their wide vocal range, Ryssi on the other hand does it to show the more intense emotion. It's like crying out loud. "Panaghoy" in Tagalog. She's musically genius.
Also, I remember this is what Gary V. mentioned way back,, he said na pag bumibirit, isang bagsakan lang dapat, then tapos na. Para nabibitin yung nga makikinig, and so they'll ask for more. I believe that's what Ryssi did. She's playing smart. 🙂

Ryssi reminds me so much of Nina. There's soul and authenticity in her renditions. She's her own competition tbh and I'm glad she's not bothered by her fellow contestants.

Of all the plat tix holders, Ryssi understood the assignment the most. Her low notes are 💯! While I love her lows, I'm happy she put in a few belty notes towards the end to showcase her range. I'm hoping in the Lives moving forward, she puts in her own arrangements in the songs to really make the songs her own. I believe that's what will set her apart from the other strong contenders.

She might have the not so typical vocal range when it comes to knowing the stereotypes of the so-called kontesera in any singing competitions. Pero deymnnnn, she's way too ahead rin naman when it comes to handling her voice compared sa iba. A very effective storyteller rin at the same time.
