Let's all agree that KZ changed the perspective of the Filipinos when it comes to singing contest, before kapag biritera ka ikaw ang panalo agad, but when KZ came and showcae how good and how cool it is to just sing your heart out stands out.
Idk about changing anything tho. Whenever Filipinos sing in international competitions (look at AGT or BGT, etc.), they are never not good. Some are spectacular, even. I think the whole world has known for a long time Filipinos are good singers. You guys are even stereotyped as good at singing when someone mentions Philippines. This is my first time watching KZ and I already expected as much.

Calling out international producers and recording companies, this girl right here is absolutely a hybrid artist 5 genres on one performance damn! Stage presence? She made it like her own concert. Its sad that only american and Uk singers are being recognized in the international stage.
Koreans are being recognized too. And mostly Filipinos are only recognized by fellow asians. And Philippines' Government suck, they don't have any priorities but themselves. If they give at least a sliver of care and love for their motherland, maybe Filipinos would be in the international spotlight too...

The hype OMG. The band were clearly having fun time playing this and even upping up their game due to the unusual arrangement and challenging beats. The lighting techs were topnotch for keeping up with the rythym! Everything were so perfecttt down to sound mixing. I love how KZ arranged this coz shes not only showcasing her vocals but all the instruments behind her as well. It felt like shes not there to compete but to have a concert ! By far the best cover of rolling of the deep ever 🤩🙌
